Well, I am a 23 year old whom is trying to conceive. My husband and I have been trying for over a year now and still nothing. I am a christian whom believes in God 110%, however it feels like I am at the end of this crossroad. All day every day I think about being pregnant, and it is taking a hold of my entire life!!!! PLEASE help me, I need to know just how to LET GO of this beast that is controling my WHOLE life. I need to face reality and know the worst, but hope for the best. We have not been tested or anything, however, after trying for soooo long I just know in my heart that I may live the rest of my life not being able to oneday have kids:( Please any and all comments are accepted!!!! Thank you in advance

There are countless, unwanted babies around the world just waiting for someone like you to take them home. Even if they don't look like you, isn't the whole point of having a child to be able to take care of and love someone so small and precious and let it grow up in a nice environment? Just imagine the kind of suffering you could be saving someone. The world is so overpopulated as it is. Adoption should not be a last resort for most people.

Have you been to a doctor?
If if has been a year and you haven't fallen pregnant it may be time to get yourself checked out. It can take up to a year and that is quite normal....so maybe give it another couple of months. It might be right around the corner.
Are you a healthy weight? Sometimes being too thin can cause problems.
If all is well, then just relax. Maybe it's not the time. Maybe god wants you to do other things first. 23 is very young!

There are a couple of techniques you can use to train your mind to let go and bring yourself some peace. But you'll have to study them a bit to make them habitual. It's worth the effort.
One is EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique. It's found and taught on the web at www.emofree.com. There is a free downloadable book on this there, and it works very well.
The other is called The Sedona Method, the book is by Hale Dwoskin. It's more of a mental thinking process that you follow to help yourself release emotionally charged feelings, which in turn makes room for things to change for you.
I would also recommend learning Silva Mind Control, but that is a bit more costly (though the materials are easy to come by) and will take more effort to master. It can also be used for physical healing and mental control.
All of these methods can be used for any purpose at all.
Good luck.

First off, get off the computer and go get you and your husband checked out by a doctor not yahoo answers. Could be something simple that can be addressed and in no time you'll have poopy diapers all over the house.

Secondly: Good luck to you.

You're only 23, millions of things can change even by the time you reach 30. Don't be so stressed, just relax, give it time, and get a kitten or puppy.

Blessed be.

do everything you can physically, including testing, and medical help, because god lets you have access to that sort of thing.
then if you need something extra, then pray.
not much can stop will power,
keep trying things till something works.

.
"believes in GOD 110%" then
hold on your faith,

over just 1 year, you are loosing your faith,
isn`t true ????

believe you me,
faith is not to be based on comforts or conviniences,

again believe you me,
your faith is very unstable, so you are thinking
how to LET GO,

you need not to LET GO,
have your faith firm and wait.. wait till HE blesses you
with kids....

i have my reasons for this,
depends on you, how you hold firm your faith,
(HE never let go HIS believers... FAITH will only count..)

you are just 23,
when you have a good news,
do wish you remember this words
FAITH only matters,
that`s all
