I want to leave my husband and move to another state. I don't have a drivers license but have transportation there but now I need help in housing etc. I am selling everything here to get money so will have some but been married 36 years and don't know where to start on being on my own. p.s. I live in an English village of about 1,000 homes, we have two churches 3 pubs, one shop/post office and a school that takes 5 - 11 year olds.. What do similar sized American villages:-

1. Do to celebrate July 4th?

2. Are they villages or townships or.....?
