Specifically what miners(gold panners) wore. I have a long beard. I just feel more comfortable in my miner clothes. People call me "Ye Ole Prospector". People always ask where my mules are. I don't see what's so weird about it. Oh, I'm 28 if that helps.

Where in the bible does it even suggest that we should have a quasi-governmental powerhouse dictating God's political policies? How is being one of the richest organizations on the globe reflect the spirit of giving and love that is lauded by the bible? How can we ,as (wo)men ELECT divinity via a pope? How does that catholic church reflect the bible in any way?

would never see? Were the Founding Fathers Of America so inhumanly intelligent that they should be allowed to rule post mortum? In spite of the fact that now science has discovered that atheism in no way affects an individual's ability to competently hold office and that being Gay is not a choice? In spite of the fact that abortion and euthanasia hadn't been invented yet when they were alive?

With politically correct Prophets like Hinckley where did the original faith of Joseph Smith go? Why has the church been hijacked by militant Liberals?

I've seen many times in answers Christians saying that atheists don't want to follow rules, feel guilty about doing whatever they want, engage in rampant sex (that one was implied).

Are atheists any more hedonistic than believers? When I lived in Italy, they had a fatalistic attitude, that whatever happened was God's will, so they just lived every day to the fullest. Is that hedonistic? (Carpe diem at worst.)

Is there a problem with atheist living for the now? I mean if there's no later... what would you expect them to do? I don't think that makes them people that engage in Roman orgies, drugs, etc.

Prisoner: Look here, doctor! You've already removed my spleen, tonsils, adenoids, and one of my kidneys. I only came to see if you could get me out of this place!

Doctor: I am, bit by bit.

A blind guy on a bar stool shouts to the bartender, "Wanna hear a blonde joke?"

In a hushed voice, the guy next to him says, "Before you tell that joke, you should know something."

Our bartender IS blonde, the bouncer is blonde. I'm a 6' tall, 200 lb black belt. The guy sitting next to me is 6'2", weighs 225, and he's a rugby player. The fella to your right is 6'5" pushing 300 and he's a wrestler. Each one of US is blonde. Think about it, Mister. Do you still wanna tell that joke?"

The blind guy says, "Nah, not if I'm gonna have to explain it five times."

........that they're trying to convince you to accept a "god of the gaps"?

I had this earlier today when my wife and I had two hours with a door knocker.

The point at which he seemed to lose his composer the most was when I pointed out to him that he was trying to sell me on a god of the gaps, even though what he believed in was way beyond that.

I pointed out to him that all christians essentially believed in a god of the gaps, just to varying degrees.

There were many points we raised with him, from evolution to the lack of evidence for Jesus.

Why did the issue of the god of the gaps upset him more than anything else?

If I whack my head with a baseball bat it is pretty obvious to me I won't do it again as I'd find the experience very unenjoyable.

If I step on a nail I'm not likely to do it again as I won't enjoy that experience either.

But not believing in the God of the bible is not at all an unpleasant experience.

Would an Intelligent Designer design humans so that they found sin so enjoyable they are unable to ever stop?

Would an Intelligent Designer design humans to be addicted to sin?

Why were we not designed to treat all sin as we would a nail we stepped on?

Assuming the Intelligent Designer hates sin as much as every Christian claims.
