What was once called the "Retail" Industry is now called the "Service" Industry. Employees are forced to smile and greet and now when you pay ask the customer to donate to different charities. Do you feel this is an appropriate place to solicite donations?

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.”

Notice that they wrote the FACT there is a CREATOR and we are CREATED are truths and that these truths are self-evident. Do you know what self-evident means?

It means that anyone one who is actually intelligent and bothers to think about it will be able to see it and get it.

So tell me about our founding fathers here, what was their problem?

i was raised catholic but havent cared for catholic religion forever since i remember. i read news where they are handing out excomulgations to john kerry, mexico city politicians who favored pro choice, etc. do i have to do something news worthy to get their attention? anybody have a priest lover that can do it for free?

Please answer with what is wrong with open sex as oppose to shooting down every religion. In our western capitalist society I believe sexual pictures videos etc are used all the time to sell things. Put a sexy girl in a beer commercial and it will sell. Our brains seem to buy if it relates to sex.

God will not except a half hearted try,it must be only your best,
it,s strange but true but some people can read a book once and repeat it chapter and verse and do not understand it what it is all about Some will go to uni to study and study realy hard well into the night maybe over couple of years, but to find God,need to try that much harder if they are to be sucssesful, if it is there best o/k if not keep trying,that is why some people of what appear to be not as bright can do better as they do there best and that is what God wants

Hey i would like to see how you would think of this


The argument about religion has been going on for ages
As from what i have heard, Atheist believe that there is no God because Atheists believe that there is insufficient evidence to prove His existence.

However look at this.

As you have said, There is absolutely no way to prove the existence of God with facts. i have no question about that

However, did you not forget the other perspective--
God cannot be disproven because there are no indisputable facts to disprove his existence.

You may say that it is ridiculous to say that something may be true because it is not proven false.

Also, i have heard that Atheism is logical. Why? Is it because There is absolutely no way to prove the existence of God with facts? It may seem logical, however are you all not shortchanging yourselves by looking at only half the picture?

What say you?

capital punishment (against it 100%)
iraq war (against it)
exporting democracy all of a sudden in iraq (no not the way we're doing it...preferably not at all)
GITMO (close it. )
immigration reform bill (for it - deporting and more fences arent going to do ****. these ppl need help)
church involved in state (against it)
president bush (hate him lol)
jon stewart/stephen colbert (love love love them lol)

i remember the time i borrowed his car and smashed its fender. i thought he would kill me, but he didn't.
i remember when i dragged him into the beach, he said it was going to rain, and it did!

Abu Hanifa , he lived about 1500 years ago , he used to meet a group of atheists everyday and try to convince them to belive in Allah , one day he was sure that they won't listen to him at all so he told them that he was tired of argument and suggested to continue the talk the next day . The next day they waited for him on time but he was very late , and after very long time he came looking very tired , they were angry and asked why he was soo late , he told them that the ferry boat he uses to cross the river didn't some so he stood there thinking of a way to cross the river when pieces of wood floating in the river stopped infront of him and shaped a boat which he used to cross the river ! The men were even more angry and told him that there is no way they would believe him . He smiled and told them : You can't belive that a boat was built by coincidence but you belive that the entire world with all its systems and rules was made with out a creator? All ofthe group believed in Allah
