People hate God.
Not the god of their imagination, but the true God who revealed Himself in history as the God of the Bible and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
They are born with a rebellious nature and it continues to corrupt them more and more throughout their life.
The only escape is death - the Good News is that Jesus died that death in our place, so we can be born again into a new kind of life, like the life of the resurrected Son of God.

Christians often let themselves be represented by the judgmental right. So many of them bully, spy, gossip, condemn, and generally act in a most unfriendly way. So many of them do not allow questioning of authority, of their particular take on things, so many of them enter into the political arena and speak acidly of liberal christians and Americans, or they badger people with talk of Christ no matter the subject.
A REAL christian has nothing to worry about. The phony E. James Kennedy types really make atheism or even Satanism look good.

I don't hate christians.
I pity those who don't know their history of their religion. The bloodsoaked, violent, hate filled history of christianity.
There are very few true christians in the world. As in the true meaning of the word christian..Christ Like. Those I have met were not even christian but acted more like Christ then most christians do!
I hate how NeoCons use Christ as a weapon but don't even realize Jesus was the first liberal!

Why do some Christians assume people hate them just because they don't believe in the same things as they do?
btw, I don't hate Christians or any religion or anyone for that matter.

One finger pointing out - three fingers pointing back.
Point to Christians and state they act arrogant, proud, and superior.
How far into denying "the hate" these people are today?! Rationalizing and excusing by saying; "Its not me its them" and Its not Jesus its them that act morally superior".
Yes they hate Christians for Christ's sake. Jesus even stated this in Matthew 5:11 - Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
They hate Christ and point fingers at Christians in all different manners.
Some of them are blind to their own hatred. And blind these will remain. They have an "unapproved" mind. Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
They do not have God in their mind - they know Him not, so go about attacking God and Jesus through Their followers.
Peace -C

Why do people hate Muslims? Generally, because a few ruin it for the rest. The same is true for Christians.

There have been and are still numerous atrocities committed in the name of Christ. The term "Christianity" or "Christian" means something different to everyone; to one person, a Christian could be someone who loved them when nobody else would, while to someone else, a Christian could be someone who physically abused them for their sexual preferences.
Gandhi said, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
We, as imperfect, fallen humans, have distorted the words and meanings of Christ to fit into our own political or social ideals. We have misrepresented His love.
The world is supposed to know that we are Christians by our love - unfortunately, we have a long way to go.

No one hate Christians, people just don't admire that you think you are perfect and that everyone else is wrong. I'm Muslim and I respect and follow Jesus path not by saying it but by acting for righteousness just like he did. I pray to God like he did and I help the poor(not the high paid priest) when I can.

We don't HATE christians, We PITY christians;
it's christians that HATE other people, because the other people are NOT christian...
Does that help?
If not, try this:
Here's the simply Solution for religion:
Eliminate religion from Your Life, A.S.A.P.;
Freedom of religion is Freedom FROM religion; religion is Spiritual fraud;
Universal Truth eliminated religion from Spirituality a long time ago;
Accomplish this:
Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs and start Your journey back home, to Heaven.
<<<<<<< UnConditional Love is the only answer >>>>>>>
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

You see all the hatred espoused by 'loving agnostics' here. People are free to have opinions in America but they, oddly enough, feel persecuted when a Christian states theirs, or what's in the Bible. I believe that's Free Speech. Nobody is arm-wrestling these people, or feeding them to lions. This is an R&S line, yet they come here to complain.
America is 'off-center' or morally luney. Selfishness, pride, and a desire to justify whatever sin is plaguing them is also evident, usually sexual immorality, but who knows. It's not an intellectual debate for them, its emotional.
The real question they need to answer should be who would you go to for in a crisis: Homer Simpson or Ned Flanders?
God Bless!

This is just an example of how some humans practice prejudice. They label a group and give that group attributes and then assume everyone under that label is the same.
If they do not like that group, they attack all in that group, usually because they see that group as different and do not understand it.
This applies to people all over the world.
The answer then is to Love.
Love God, Love Others, Love Yourself
