I've noticed a lot of people who are native speakers of one of the major Romance languages (i.e., French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc) say that due to being able to speak one of these languages they can clearly understand any of the others. Example: someone I know that is a native speaker of Spanish told me that she can understand Portuguese, Romanian, French, Italian, Latin, Catalan, Galician, and an Inca language. I don't know what to think about that. Is that really even believable?
In any case, I was just curious: how much of another Romance language can you understand?

When a questioner ask and the ansewrer gave an honest answer from his heart to be the best answer to their question with a mind of helping them to solved their problem in a different way, the questioner could not accept it and then report abuse? Is the questioner seeking an answer of their choice? Are they looking for an answer that support their reason and reject those to be hurtfull . Have the answerer to be a hypocrite ? The questioner must accept the answer even though it hurt them. Sarcasm to the sense of awakenig or as a point to an answer do shock. Pointers of their mistake to the answerer mind is only an opinion. If all wants to hear one side answer then what is the of point begging for an answer. This is making a mockery of the answerer. Each answerer have a different style. The main point is whether he is sincere or the reason he gives is of some truth or the truth. Right or wrong is of both side opinion. Why get hurt when it is wrong answer, if it's right then it's hurt,

...can you think of a good reason for mating for life? The more I think about it, the more it seems unlikely that humans are meant to have only 1 spouse in their life. It seems unreasonable to expect people to grow and stay together for such a long time - and unlikely that it can be done. We go through so many changes as parents and people - why should we constrain ourselves to 1 mate for life? What do you think?

If a man was younger than any of these women, would you consider this to be inappropriate, if so...why - how much of an age gap between two people do you think is too much ?

The 4th of July is a favorite holiday of many Americans. It is a day of picnics, hot dogs, parades, baseball, fireworks, and lots of red, white, and blue. Of course, although many Americans dutifully and happily celebrate the 4th of July, not all of them understand exactly what it means.

The 4th of July is also known as Independence Day in the United States. Independence from whom? The Kingdom of Great Britain. When? 1776.

Many people assume that the 4th of July was the day that we won the American Revolution and officially gained our independence from Great Britain, but this is not true. The formal ending of the American Revolutionary War was on September 3, 1783. This is the day that the Treaty of Paris was signed, officially ending the war, on paper.

Some people also mistakenly believe that our 4th of July celebrations mark the day that the American Revolution started, but the war started in 1775, and the 4th of July marks and event that happened in 1776!

My son Cody is in dire straits at present.His wife left him along with three babies ages 5, 3 and 1.Sunday about midnight she called him and wanted him to come to the place where she was staying so that they could talk.The door was to be opened and he was told not to wake the people up.I begged him not to go and tried to tell him that she was up to something, but he wouldn't listen.He went into the house but she was not there. As he was walking out the man that lives there awoke.And saw him as he was leaving.He called my house the next day and said that he had called the police on Cody.My son now sets and crys, he wants to die and is drowning himself in alcohol.We haven't heard a thing from the police about this incident and continue to pray that we do not.I imposed on some of your questions by asking for pray, I hope this was not an offence but I believe in pray and wanted to get the word out.Emailed many of you.I want to thank all of you for your prayers and ask that you continue to.

the catholic bible explains about loving one another and not hurting and killing eachother, helping one another, which is common sence of what GOD wants from us

why does the QURAN have alot of nasty hate in it? and how can muslims beleive that their religion is good,
the way muslim religion is, they hate non muslims and their religions cos its not like theirs, and theres alot of info on what to do to non muslims, which explains why there is so much terrorism in our world

Ok, I'm getting ready to get off work. I just found out that the 4th of July parade starts at 10am and its on the main road. The problem is, I live on the main road. Should I just wait until the parade is over (its a hour and a half long) or should I be an asshole and drive right through it to get to my house?
