Ok, I'm getting ready to get off work. I just found out that the 4th of July parade starts at 10am and its on the main road. The problem is, I live on the main road. Should I just wait until the parade is over (its a hour and a half long) or should I be an asshole and drive right through it to get to my house?

I went ahead and drove through. Cop told me he didn't blame me. And to the Uncle Sam guy. Burn in hell!

If you can be bothered to wait, or you wanna watch it, then stay at work... If you can't and you don't mind dirty looks and possible abuse, then just drive through it.. I'd go for the second personally :)

Don't worry, Hun, Uncle Sam's been reported. Twice. Once for spam and once for objectionable speech.

Have a good holiday. I think you should try to wait the parade out. It can't be that long, right?

Cheers

Park on the next street over and walk home. Then, after the parade, go get your car.

Drive right on through. You'll enjoy being arrested and spending the holiday locked up with the drunks and the druggies and other losers who manage to get themselves thrown in jail on a holiday.

I'd stick to plan a, even if the police weren't there to stop you. Perhaps your family can make it by foot to where you would be and you can enjoy it together?
