I don't get why people keep on equating atheism and religion with philosophy. As far as I know there is nothing that always, permanently links a particular religious viewpoint with a particular philosophy. For example, I am an atheist, but my PHILOSOPHY is that of being a freethinker, of looking at everything logically and coming to conclusions through logic rather than emotion/faith/bias; atheism is just the conclusion I have come to after looking at the evidence as logically as I can, it is not my philosophy in itself.
That said, obviously I believe my philosophy AND my religious viewpoint to both be true (because I wouldn't have them if I DIDN'T believe they were true), so I suspect that eventually everyone will come around to a philosophy and religious viewpoint something like mine (although in the future they will probably be more well-defined and complex than I see them now, due to progress in the field of philosophy).

If you are Christian and have read the book of Revelations then you know the only ones to survive the last days are those who have accepted and follow Christ. However, the book of Revelations also tells of how just before that happens people of all other belief systems will turn into blood thirsty hateful murderers deceiving themselves into believing that they are doing God or the world a favor by getting rid of Christ followers. Just take a look at whats going on in the world today and you'll see that it is all true but take comfort in the fact that those who honor God and believe in Christ will be victorious well above it all.

Some form of hedonistic universalism will be most prevalent 'faith' at the end; after all the followers of the true religion are gone.

It will change with political and economic power.
With current historic trends, it is most certain to be some for of Buddhism as this is the dominant Chinese religion. China will overtake the US and EU as the major economic power within 10 years.

Nobody knows.
In my opinion though, atheism. As more of the mysteries of life are revealed in factual nature the less need for fantastic explanations.

I am voting on deadism. the odds of any faith that has a lot of arbitrary dogma being accurate is slim. everybody will die at some point and their faith will turn to dust with them.

At the end people will have lead their lives like Atheists but plead for G-ds fogiveness in their final minutes.
As the saying goes, "Theres no such thing as an atheist in a life boat"

You overlook the possibility that truth could be with the minority.
The majority are not always right.

In the end? You will be a believer in Christ or dead. At the very end there will be no religion at all... everyone will be worshiping God as a natural state.

I believe that in the end there will be nothing left but faith, so universalism.
