They'll just randomly pick another; it has seemed to be working for the past 2000 years.

Ever since Jesus told the apostles that he'd return in their lifetime.

There's not a real Christian in the world that would cling to any date unless they were idiots. If the Lord says "No one knows the day or the hour, not the angels in heaven but only my Father in heaven."
And then continue to look for dates ,then they are nuts.

I've got a birthday coming up on December 16th each year and I'd be happy to receive the gift of watching them depart. Do you think I ought to suggest that date? How exciting it would be - Christians flying up into the clouds; never to be seen or heard from again. It would be better than the best of all fireworks... Ooooo Ahaaaaa.

I am a Christian for over 37 yrs. & I have never put a certain date on the Rapture, But I will say, the religious world will NEVER know when the rapture takes place, It is for the Bride only, Because we are children of the light that the rapture will not take us unaware.

I don't believe true Christians "cling" to dates. As Jesus said it was for the Father to know the return of the Lord, not man.
So true Christians shouldn't be date setters.

OK, not all Christians, including myself put a date on this. Because, God is in control of all things, when it is in his will, he will do whatever, and when ever. Some people try to pick apart the bible for these dates, but, as I said before God is in control pf it all. So, I try to live my life as correct as I can, by this I mean that I try to do right by other people. This belief of these dates is a misconception.

For your info- True Christians would never set a date- why? Because the Bible says, no one but God knows the time of Jesus' return- that is also why it says, "He will return like a thief in the night". That also is why- "today is the day of salvation"- because tomorrow could be to late- accept Christ, and live!!

Christians aren't supposed to set dates for the rapture. It can happen at any time. I want to be ready at any time. (I answer even though I know you don't believe me. I'm going to give you a star because you always seem to be respectful in your disagreement.)
