Like in baseball, everytime I go up to bat, I do the quick cross thing, and do a quick prayer. I never go to church so I know I really dont deserve it. Is it a sin if like you pray for dumb small things like this? And I know this sounds extremely not right, but if like someone strikes out, I kind of think god has a role in it. Is this all a bad thing?

God sent plagues, killed all the firstborn of Egypt, flooded al the earth, killed everything that creepeth and crawleth etc. he created all things (including evil?) All Satan is accused of is making some ditz eat an apple and "Tempting the Christ"? Seems like we need to adjust our moral compass and reconsider what evil is..... Just a thought///

Does it matter how a person interprets scriptures in terms of whether or not they take everything literally or even if they take certain things symbolically? Does it matter if a person is a Protestant or Catholic? Does it matter if a person is a Fundamental/Conservative, Evangelical, or Liberal Christian? Does it matter what denomination a person chooses? What's the most improtant aspect of Christianity? Also what does being a Christian mean to you in terms of your daily lives?

If you haven't seen, on cnn there is a news story on a transgendered 7 year old. After a while, I'm wondering.....you know there are Tom Boys, girls who till puberty or even shortly after dress like boys, act like boys, do boys stuff. I never heard of a boy into girls stuff, but I wonder if this could be that type of case. Once he's old enough or starts having feelings, if its go girls or guys will know the answer. Even Tom Boys become attracted to boys then they start acting like girls.

I know it's several months away, but it's one of my favorite celebrations. I haven't dressed up since I was about 11 years old, I'm 18 now. could it be that because humans have always been selfish, that it was a way to "make" people believe in doing the right thing, that thats just what it took for us to get our head out of our a.ss. there are many things in the bible that just dont make sense, maybe it did back then. but every person that wrote the bible was human too, werent they? after all, nobody is perfect, so why were they? why does it have to be all or nothing?

I'm sure most of us pray repeatedly throughout the day, but do you have a certain favorite time, that you really enjoy and look forward to praying? I do. My time is very early in the morning, just after waking up but before I open my eyes and get up. If you haven't tried praying in the first waking moments of the day, I recommend it very highly. It really makes the whole day go WAY better! What are some other times that you've found prayer especially rewarding?
