God sent plagues, killed all the firstborn of Egypt, flooded al the earth, killed everything that creepeth and crawleth etc. he created all things (including evil?) All Satan is accused of is making some ditz eat an apple and "Tempting the Christ"? Seems like we need to adjust our moral compass and reconsider what evil is..... Just a thought///

Evil is because of satan. GOD created and satan has destroyed. All that have been and ever were killed were a result of satan's evils. GOD did not intend for us to even have death, satan did and there was no "eat an apple and Tempting the Christ". Christ was tempted and Eve ate from the tree that was forbidden NOT an apple tree as you stated. These were not small matters they were evidentally important to9 the one who counts. OUR FATHER in Heaven is the ONE who counts. Get it right. You need to be attending and studying HIS HOLY WORD now.

God sent the plauges to the Egyptians, because they were using the Israelites as slaves and wouldn't let them go even though they were warned of the plagues. God flooded the earth because of all the evil that was occuring in those times (It was probably a lot worse than it is today.). Plus, he didn't destroy all life, and he promised that he would never flood the earth again. God didn't create evil, mankind did. God is gracious and merciful. He didn't want to control us like mind puppets. He gave us a choice. Well, we chose sin. Satan didn't just plant the idea of sin into our head, he's the source of all sin that occurs today. He's the one that tempts us into doing wrong things, but we must resist. It's true, Satan did tempt Christ, because he knew what part Christ had in God's plan, and he wanted to stop it. He knew that if Christ sinned, he wouldn't be able to die for ours, and then heaven wouldn't be open to us, and we wouldn't be able to repent. It's good that you're asking questions like this. If one deceives another then that Satan.
If one helps or teaches another then that's GOD.
If you read about one saying rules are not important - that's Satan talking.
If you read about the importance of respect and following your given word (swearing to follow all laws) - then this is GOD.
If someone is upset that people are sharing and caring for each other - that's Satan.
If someone is upset that people break/broke their word, and are insulting and hurting the weak - that's GOD.
Evil is doing something wrong for personal gain while hurting weaker members of your community.
Discipline and love are when you enforce the rules everyone, fully and knowingly understands and agrees to.
I agree knowing all aspects of evil is important. Then we as a people can stop evil and protect the weak in our community.

You had better do more reading. God is the source of love and salvation through Jesus. He will also punish the evil and is holy.
Satan is the source of all sin,the source of all lies and the cause that man isn't still in the Garden of Eden enjoying a personal realtionshipp with God.

God is Righteous and Just and all his judgements are based on Holiness which Satan lacks. God created free will. Free will created evil - not God.

Very simple.
God wants us to:
+ Learn how to live together in love and respect, "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."
+ Share eternity with Him in perfect happiness in heaven.
Satan in his everlasting rebellion wants to separate us from God and all that is good and blessed forever.
The stories that you mention are all about God trying to teach people to live together in love and respect or punishing them for not doing so.
You seem to think that death is the worst thing that can happen to a person. It is not. Death is just the start of our everlasting life, either in heaven with God or in hell.
