When I was very religious, I was right-brained, but since I stopped practicing religion I have become left-brained. Is it just a coincidence?

I am an atheist( Former christian), 17 years old, and I feel sooooo much happier now being an atheist. I turned to atheism a year ago when I realized that god was a fairy tale and that christianity is a big con game. I am appalled that my family wanted me to believe in all of that. I am able to do the things I want to do without having to say to myself 1. This is a sin 2. God will put me in hell if I do this!!! It feels GREAT to be atheist. My question is for all of those atheists out there, are you a former christian? And are you happy being atheist?

Most will be straight, I have nothing against alternative lifestyles, but this friend, like many who pursue gay/lesbian lifestyle, is very open, frankly annoyingly so in mixed company. I want to be fair, but afraid she will spoil things for me. She is also known to make advances to other women.

People are becoming more and more sinful. More people are commiting adultry. People are having mulitiple sex parteners and sex at a young age. All societies are more corrupt. Corruption is at its highest point. More crimes are commited daily, and now adays it seems that everyone is gay. Abortion is the new means of birth control, and no matter how you look at it, in the bible it is considered murder. This are just some of the reasons as to why heaven may be a thing of the past. Please tell me your opinion on the subject, all is welcomed.

I am Catholic, and a firm believer in heavan and hell. I find comfort in the fact that after I die, I will live eternally in a peaceful life with the Lord.

So, my question to you, is how do Atheists feel about never living again and being total nothingness upon death?

The theory of evolution has been around for 150 years, and has had a great influence on the way people look at the world. It proposes the lie that they came into this world as the result of chance and that they are a "species of animal." Furthermore, it teaches them that the only law in life is a selfish struggle for survival and to stay alive. The effects of this idea can be clearly seen in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries: people's increasing selfishness, the moral degeneration in society, the rapid spread of self-interest, ruthlessness, and violence, the development of totalitarian and bloody ideologies such as fascism and communism, social and individual crises as people grow distant from the morality of religion.

The social results of the theory of evolution have been examined in other books of this author. (see Harun Yahya's The Disasters Darwinism Brought to Humanity, Communism Lies in Ambush, The Dark Spell of Darwinism, and The Religion of Darwinism). It is revealed in these books that this theory, which claims to be "scientific," actually has no scientific basis at all, that it is a scenario stubbornly defended in the face of all the facts, consisting of nothing but superstitions.

It is essential that those who wish to learn about the true nature of the theory of evolution and the Darwinian "worldview" that has systematically dragged the world towards violence, savagery, ruthlessness, and conflict for the last 150 years turn to those books.

This part will consider the invalidity of the theory of evolution at a more general level. Evolutionists' claims on certain matters will be responded to with questions that are frequently asked, the meanings of which are not entirely understood.

It’s as though a circle is involved with our development as a sapient species. We started out as animals, blissfully unaware of eventualities after death and concerned with only that which occurs in present reality. Then we gained sapience but our consciousnesses became burdened with superstition and belief. It is clear to me that at some point in the future, there will be an increase in knowledge/technology, an absence of religion and a return to an animalistic perception of reality which means an absence of concern for eventualities after death. Doesn’t seem more natural to you?

Do you realize that what we say is "Apostolic Tradition" is actually two forms of Tradition, Oral Tradition, and Written Tradition (the Bible) which we believe has been passed down to us from the Apostles, and we recognize booth as the Word of God. Oral Tradition has always been held in the same rank as written tradition as seen in the writings of John Chrysostom:

"[Paul commands,] ‘Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you have been taught, whether by word or by our letter’ [2 Thess. 2:15]. From this it is clear that they did not hand down everything by letter, but there is much also that was not written. Like that which was written, the unwritten too is worthy of belief. So let us regard the tradition of the Church also as worthy of belief. Is it a tradition? Seek no further" (Homilies on Second Thessalonians [A.D. 402]).

These things that we call Tradition aren't just made up things, do you get what I'm say? Because it really seems like you all don't
