Pagans are greedy and dark heathens from the 1st century who formed their own religion after crucifying Jesus. They say the world is millions of years old when we know that it is only 6,000 years old - and they say it to try to make good Christians like us turn away from Jesus! Pagans are servers of Satan in disguise. Disgusting, the lot of 'em. They plant dinosaur fossils and worship seasons rather than getting DOWN ON THEIR KNEES AND THANKING THE LORD, LIKE THEY SHOULD BE!!!

I know you must be a faker who is trying to start a fight because no one would use the word "paganist." It's "pagan."

You have already been thoroughly chastised and properly spanked by the other anwerers, who have very eloquently informed you that the pagan festivities pre-date Christianity by a lot of years.

So we have 2 possible scenarios. Either you are a faker who knew darn well that pagan holidays pre-date Christian ones, or you are one of the least educated people on the R&S group of answerers. Neither one is a place I would want to be, but there you are.

I am not pagan, but i would love to inform you that all the Christian traditions and holidays were "borrowed" from the pagans first. They were the first ones with the Christmas tree, they were the first ones that came up with the idea of an elderly man in the sky. You should swallow your pride, and admit you are the "borrowers".

I'm having problems figuring which holidays and traditions the "Paganism" as you call them, took from us. Easter was originally a "pagan" holiday, it was the spring equinox. Christmas is the winter solstice. I won't give any more holidays. The Easter egg and Christmas tree are also traditions that the "pagans" had before us.

you're kidding, right? please tell me you're kidding! pagan holidays were co-opted by the early church. they've been around way longer than christianity. not much for education, are you? I'd be interested in what you think pagans took. BTW, what is a "paganist"?

Yes, and why do you burrow under all the old Christian churches in Europe and build ruined ancient Pagan temples there...just what is your agenda?

reading historical finds you will find that the Church that we know today had taken pagan believes as their own when the roman church was first conceived to help convert pagans to Christians. others were adopted later for similar reasons. before the official church followers of Jesus were known as Jewish Christians.

Pagan holidays, I'm pretty sure they predate Christian holidays. And I am pretty sure you must be joking.

Of all your questions, which I find terribly amusing, I had to star this one!
Mommy, Mommy, why does your face look just like mine? Couldn't you get your own face?
You rock.

Ahhhh, you've found us out.

We "borrow" your holidays because we are such pathetic saps that we can't come up with any of our own.

And we secretly envy your holidays so we copy them.

Well, that....and SATAN!

*chuckle*
