Giving your life over to Christ means that you surrender your will and you follow God's will over your own. That's a hard thing to do. Also, you may be thinking about it way too much. Christ died for you so that you might have life. You are not giving up your life. You are renewing yours in Christ. Stop thinking that you are giving up your life. You are gaining the righteousness of Christ! It's an amazing feeling of peace. Also, Satan will pull you as far as he can. He is trying to convince you that this isn't a good idea. Do not listen to him. Surrender and lay in the peace and joy of God.

Paul had this very same struggle. The things he knew he should do he was not doing, he kept doing the things he shouldn't do. Read about it in Romans 7: 14-24 but the answer is in verse 25 and the next chapter, verse 1. We are not condemned if we walk (follow after) the Spirit. The devil wants us to think that we cannot do it....and we cannot without God's help.
I want to share 2 promises that God has given us that I claim
often...they are my favorite.
Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."
2 Cor. 12:9 " And He said unto me, my grace is sufficient
for thee; for MY STRENTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS." ( I am "weakness"!)
One more thing....our walk with Jesus is like being in an elevator with Him. As long as we are in there we are going up....we may fall down every now and then in the elevator...but we are still going up. He also promises to finish what He started with us when we give our lives to Him.
I will pray for you.

all you need to do is ask,for a sign,or whatever it is that you need to do in order to make it sit right for you, you will be answered,it may not happen overnight but it will happen, most of all be gentle with yourself what will be will be,you are only confused at the moment because you are experiencing fear and pain, these are only emotions{not meaning to condemn in any way} When you learn to separate the two and the ego as well you will be ready and strong enough again to know what you believe,Heal yourself first and do whatever you have to do to make this happen take your time and care for yourself first,God will be there for you when you are ready. love and light

See a priest or minister of the faith you've chosen for help on overcoming your fears or problems---hard to help with your problem without more specific's unles you want to repost. If it's hard or difficult or hurts, you have some issues to deal with before you can gain some sense of direction or resolve for your problem but anything can be overcome with time, patience and prayer.

Because none of us want to relinquish control. Because it's counterintuitive to take things on faith. Because society pushes us in the opposite direction of Jesus. Because the evil in this world designs things to keep you from coming to Jesus.

Still, that feeling in your heart that is causing you to want to turn your life over to Christ is called the Holy Spirit. When you do turn your life over to Christ, the Holy Spirit will well up inside you and give you unspeakable joy.

Why do you want to believe in Christ? Is it because everyone else is doing it? I think you are giving into peer pressure.

You can have a moral and good life without having to believe in an invisible man in the sky.

Satan is out to thwart you. He is out to sift you like wheat.
Get in a bible believing church and do your best. For the best results, seek the baptism of the Holy Ghost. He will help you!
Obey Acts 2:38, that is the first message to the world from the body of Christ and it is still true today.!

It's just common sense messing with you. You've got to turn that off in order for this whole thing to work.

Jesus is not real. He is a fake con man, don't buy into it. Atheism is the way to go.
