I've been wondering that myself. Especially since it appears there's a short window of a few hours when people are likely to see your question on their home page before it gets shuffled out of sight.

It certainly seems there are blocks of time where you're more likely to get intelligent responses and less thumbs down than others.

Does that mean some of you prefer to post betweeen late evening to early afternoon? I've just been posting whenever the thought strikes, but the quality of replies does seem hit & miss that way.
