Just curious.

Why is it that the leaders of your church are called Popes, Bishops, ext? Why don't they use Apostles, Prophets, ext? I'm just curious to know. I'm trying to learn more about other religions, and who better to ask then the people themselves, right? I'll probably ask a few more questions about your church before I move on to another one, so just answer me honestly, and be nice!!!

I've only read it from religious theists in this category, the question "If man came from monkeys why are there still monkeys".

I'm just wondering, are there any science textbooks that say man came from monkeys?

It seems many people really like feet (well taken care of, of course), and others simply find them gross... It seems about 50-50

Just curious.

...would you use it for good or evil?

A lot of people worship the Supreme GOOD/KIND Being, because of "rewards" they beleive they'll get. For example, the belief of being blessed and going to an eternal paradise, or being protected. Why don't we worship a Supreme EVIL Being, because we will not attain good things. So, since they worship him to attain rewards for themselves not for the sake of God, they are woshiping for selfish reasons. Which raises the question "Is it really right to worship God (kind) because of selfish reasons (see above)?" Since a lot of people today think selfish is a bad thing.

After all, we aren't the ones who think so highly of ourselves that we find it our right to judge others for all eternity. To me, the fact that Christians think they have this prerogative is the height of conceit.

This brilliant question has been brought to you with exquisite charm courtesy of modest Jack ;)

This is not an attack on Christians and I'm not generalizing (just asking) so please do not get offended (or defensive). My question is: If the bible and God say "thou shalt not kill" why have Christians gone to war with other nations based on their religious beliefs? For example: Christians conquering Muslims to claim their land (as Holy) - this goes both ways. Also, Christians killed a lot of natives for their gold and their land all in the name of God. Isn't that blasphemous? I think God gets pretty ticked when people kill in his name since it was He who made it very clear (see 10 Commandments) that we're not supposed to kill each other. I'm not even Christian and I get this one. :)

As an atheist are you not obligated to help fellow human beings because there is no God to bless or protect them from oppression, torture, hunger....

As a Christian what exactly is your obligation? To teach about Christ? If they don't believe then let them suffer? what about the children?

If you believe in the Bible then like the Christian should you teach then hang back and let it come to pass?

Before you get ticked off at me let me say...this is not what I believe it is just a question!

You're the MOST!

Jesus says His Church is His bride. The closest thing in the world to the intense love between a person and God is the love found between spouses. The Holy Spirit comes to us, loving us like a spouse, above all others. He loves each one of us, individually, above all others. How can this be?

It is because, like snowflakes, we are all unique. He can love us each exclusively for our individuality. Only He knows everything about us. He purifies us into our perfect individuality.

We are all special with special talents. Some of those talents have been twisted by the world. God sees them as they are meant to be and can purify them into His original intention. This makes us capable of great works.

Our work is short in terms of eternity. One of the children at Fatima was told by Mary that she would be in Heaven soon. She lived to be over 90. Like snowflakes we will be gone from this world very soon.

Are you the Most?

Yours in Christ Jesus, Grace
