I am currently studying the Middle Eastern culture and I don't want to offend anyone.

I am merely doing this out of the respect that I have come to appreciate after reading the past, present and future of Islam.

Most of the tattoos I have now are spiritual.. I have a celtic cross, dream catcher with a wolf howling on each side and a full breasted eagle above it. I want to get something on the chest of the eagle, even if it's one word or just noting it in the (23:19) format.

No I am not Muslim, but I do like some of the scriptures in the Quran.

PLEASE ONLY INTELLIGENT ANSWERS. ANYTHING OFFENSIVE WILL BE REPORTED.

Thank you for the respect.

I'm getting ready to send a cover letter for a job posting, and I don't know whether the greeting should be "Dear Mr. Ngyuen" or "Dear Ms. Nguyen".

I have always wondered why many people of different religions seem to put down people of other religions or belifs...such as when someone asked a question about Athiests and Christians many Athiests said christians were ignorant and another said atheists just grew up like not believing in Santa Clause.......don't you think people should just accept that others happen to believe otherwise? they said that Athiests were not ignorant but isn't it ignorant to say that all Christians and other religion people are ignorant or that maybe some Muslims, Christians etc are actually more grown up...
is it wrong to say those people are maybe ignorant than who they are talking about? why is it that people have to be judgmental or rude or more concieded.....I am not saying all Atheists are I am saying those people or the people who believe that

My black friends tease me because I date white guys. Also, people have told me that by dating white men it shows that I think I am too good for black men.

I find it extremely awkward when I go over my boyfriend's parents or grandparents house to eat, or when we all go out to dinner together. Before eating anything they hold hands together and bow their heads and pray, even at restaurants. I am atheist, so I feel very uncomfortable when this happens. I don't care that they do this, I respect their tradition, I just am not sure what I should do during this time. Should I join hands with them even though I believe firmly against religion, or do I just sit there and wait until they are done? I have done both before and still feel weird everytime. I don't want to be rude or upset his family, but I feel it is making a mockery of their religion to participate if my heart is not in it. Any suggestions?

Remember 1910 was pronounced Nineteen-Ten but 2005 was pronounced Two Thousand and Five

Jack Nicholson's character in "The Witches of Eastwick" lamented:

“Of course, when we make mistakes they call it evil. When God makes mistakes, they call it ... nature. So whaddaya think? Women: a mistake? Or did he do it to us on purpose!?! Because I really wanna know! Because if it's a mistake, maybe we can dos something about it! Find a cure. Invent a vaccine. Build up our immune systems...”

Feel free to change men for women to comply with your prospective. But has anyone else felt that a love interest has been sent to Earth for the sole purpose of torturing you?

I'm an atheist, but even I can relate to Jack's quote, lol.

Is it just me or are these people nuts?
Why havent they at least been locked up?
What do religious people think of these people?

To be honest I am suprised they havent been shot or something.
Why havent their kids been taken away? Arent they being brainwashed? Isnt it child abuse?
If anyone tried that in the UK, they would soon be stopped from preaching abuse and hate, either by the law or other ways.

Doesn't the bible say do not worship any other gods before me? I mean why don't we worship Noah or Moses? Weren't they messagers through God? Please don't be offended. This is only my opinion. Protestants say that Mary didn't have any powers and that she only gave birth to Jesus Christ but Jesus Christ didn't have powers on his own. God gave him powers to serve his purpose to the world. Mary could've easily tried getting rid of Jesus Christ but because she loves God and honor him. She did what God ordered. I think we should honor God only not Jesus Christ, Mary or any other people who served their purpose for God.

I deleted my last two questions about:
Do you think it's a mockery of Jesus the film: You me and Dupree?

and: Can beautiful America still be saved?

I think I got to deep into conjectures and too little into my analysis.

I will not touch the topics again unless I find more reliable facts about them.

If so, what form of jewelry and what symbols representing what religion how? Also, do you wear it/them where others can see it? Has anybody ever asked about it/them? Any conflict because of them? Just curious.

I myself like to wear a necklace with a dragon claw holding a blue marble at the end. The claw has four toes representing the four elements to me, and the blue marble represents water which is the element of my sign, Scorpio. Also, my Chinese zodiac sign happens to be the dragon. In effect, it represents me and my being Eclectic by borrowing bits from different religions to make a unique religion that works for just me.
I also wear a ring with the Star of David on it representing my Jewish upbringing.

I do wear both where people can see them. I've only been asked once about the necklace. The person was just curious what it was.

Ok Hell was created for the Devil and his angels correct? The devil is destined to spend eternity there and he will be tormented for all eternity right? So why does he care if he has company or not? Why is this whole free will thing a battle between God and Satan over who's going to get the most souls?

I can understand having a problem with fundies, But Jesus himself whether you believe he was the son of god or not was a amazing being with some radical revalutionary ideas, it's not his fault his ideas were ignored and looked over for Paul's dogma.
