I posted this question about a month ago and received wonderful advice and support.

After the conversation with my mother, there was my daughters 4th birthday, Mothers Day and now Fathers Day. In addition, a great Uncle passed away which I found out only by the paper.

My Mother has not contacted me in any way, did not call or send her granddaughter a birthday greeting.

How long must I and my family continue to endure being ostracized?

PS:I will NOT ever change my mind or support of my sister's right to be who she is!

I asked a question earlier, Did Jesus ever laugh.

I got an answer ' just because it is not in the bible doesn't mean it did not happen'.

I say just because it is in the bible certainly does NOT mean that it did happen! Like Noah's Ark for example.

Anyone else think that American churches are becoming more and more superficial?

There is a story about this little town on a Sunday right before the service began. A young man entered the church and the whole church began murmuring under their breath. The man had old blue jeans, a torn shirt, scraggly hair - obviously a homeless person. All the people made sure there was no room for anyone to sit down so that he wouldn't sit next to him. The minister came out and the people kept on talking under their breath. Then right before the minister started to speak, the young man walked down the aisle a few feet and sat on the floor. Now everyone was appalled. Finally an old member of the church started walking toward the man. Everyone felt a little more at ease being that the man was going to be confronted about being there by a church elder. But instead, the elder sat next to him in the aisle.
Everyone became embarrasingly quiet again, and the minister began his sermon....

Hello, I am in need of finding Italian names for a small mom and pop type grocery store. I am proposing opening one such store in a new complex that has an Italian style and feel and the managment doesn't want "convienent", "mart" or "store" in the title, so I am trying to find a suitible name. I simply need a verifiable academic (or closest available) of the number of Historians that agree Jesus as a historical figure existed, how many don't, and it would be nice to get a figure stating the percentage of Christian historians within the Historical community.

found out in 1933 my grandmother passed away and was buried in such a site if Ft Worth Texas. Am interested in fining this in hopes it will lead me to my mothers siblings who were all separated at a very young age.

...if you had to make a clinic-wide announcement over an intercom that Mr. Looney was there to visit his cat? What if it was the whole familiy and you had to announce that the "loonies" were there to visit? Or the looney family?

There is definately the New Heaven and the New Earth... on this New earth there will be the New Jerusalem which according to Revelation come down from God out of heaven .. prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

In sweden, atheists and agnostics make up 90% of the population. Church attendance is less than 10%. So many Christians love to claim that atheistic beliefs will create nothing but communism because of Joseph Stalin. Well guess what, Sweden is a democracy. They vote on laws, they vote for their leaders, and they have a public school system like America. Sweden has one of the lowest crime rates of any developed nation in the world. They get higher scores in Math and Science then Americans do. I couldn't find a more perfect example of how atheistic beliefs can form a peaceful way of life while at the same time promoting freedom. I recently took a vacation to Sweden with my parents so you can probably sense my enthusiasm.

I have to admit,,,I'm torn on this one. My Bible says that divorce is a sin. And if you re-marry,,,you are committing adultery,,,,some factors like the original spouse committing adultery is acceptable to divorce and re-marry.....as I said I'm torn,,and praying,,I'm divorced (yeah he cheated) but not re-married.
