Hello, I am in need of finding Italian names for a small mom and pop type grocery store. I am proposing opening one such store in a new complex that has an Italian style and feel and the managment doesn't want "convienent", "mart" or "store" in the title, so I am trying to find a suitible name. Any suggestions? Thank you.

In Italy there is a very famous franchising chain of mom and pop shops that's "Mondo Bimbo". To avoid any possible problem (I don't know if this is a registered trade-mark) you could mix Italian with English and give the shop a name like
Bimbo World (Bimbo means baby and Mondo means world) or Baby Mondo .
An alternative could be to use a name, originating from Latin, that's very common in Italy but that's not really sounding as Italian : BIBERON , the baby's bottle, is the name used by quite a lot of small mom and pop shops in Italy.

"Drogheria" literally means "grocery store", so you could call your shop "La drogheria di famiglia" (Family grocery store)
or "La piccola drogheria" (Little grocery store)...
