I bought my dad a cute card saying how it was his day and he better enjoy it bc tomorrow it will be back to being about me! LoL and a IPod, he has been wanting one for a while. I know he loved it!

Got to go fishing and caught 8 Large Mouth Bass, watched racing on TV and Got a Bass Pro Shop Gift Card. Called my dad, he was on vacation.

Since my Dad passed on almost 9 years ago, I honored him by thanking God for His choice of an earthly Father for me. I did not always get along with my Dad, but we worked things out in the end and I was blessed to be his caregiver until he died.

we just celebrated by going to a restaurant, wishing him a good one, and a somewhat gift.
