What would be the idealized way to end poverty?
what are some conceptual ways to end poverty?

Answer should be "inspirational" // answer should be a pleasant idea, a likeable, understandable solution (like sending the poor to school for example)

(and dont answer: give all the poor money or kill all the poor)

Can you forgive anybody for anything that was a sin? If so please explain and if not explain. If so give a biblical example.

I have two, Jesus prayed for everyone that was crucifying him right before he died. He wanted God to even forgive those that were mocking, beating, and killing him

My second is, Sodom and Gomorah and their surrounding cities were destroyed by two angels because of their sin. God didn't give them any more time than the time they had before he killed them all, along with Lots wife for looking back.

So what do you think, and thanks for the answers.

I am agnostic and have no ties to organized religon nor am an athist witch is a religon all its own. But it seems to me that fewer and fewer people are becoming "NON RELIGOUS" more and more people simply dont care. I belive in freedom of religion and i in no way want to offend any religion I say more power to you and you're god! I say this because many people mistake me for an athiest. I think athiest fear that got is real and go on a crusade to disprove it, "to me that is a religion" Anyway I see fewer children of the religious continuing their parents tradition. the repercusions of this are not part of the question, Im just currious if thats just in my part of the country or have others seen the same happening

that frequently adolescents have Homosexual adventures at single sex boarding schools yet reject same sex relationships for Heterosexuality when they are able to access the opposite sex after school. Is it due to insecurity, any ideas.

i do it because to me, it's a physical representation of the interconnectedness of the universe and everything within it.

i'm not (really) pagan or anything. i just think the changing of the seasons is proof of how everything is connected (cause ya know, without the sun and the rotation of the earth and all, we wouldn't have seasons)

oh, and cause it's just a reminder of the crazy beauty of this world and how lucky i am to be in it :)

Are decorations any different in England than in Scotland? I've read that the Scots didn't officially celebrate Christmas until the 1950s and that they still make more of New Year's, or Hogmanay, than Christmas.

We believe in the Jesus Christ of the Bible. We believe he is the Only begotten Son of God the Father. We believe We can only be saved through his infinite Atonement. we beleive that if we really love him we will keep his commandments... We believe he is the Light, the truth and the way. He is the cornoerstone of our religion.

All of our beliefs are only apendages to the Saviors birth, life, death and ressurection.

Why do so many people think we are not Christian?

My friend did a project on this religion a couple years back and he's not around this summer to ask which it was. Problem is I can hardly remember anyhing about it either.

It was mostly just a 'spoof' religion. Fake maps, bogus drawings, saying that humor was a big part of everything. There was a website that we were on about it at one time. Just looking for a couple names that yous might know. Thanks :)

I don't understand. They don't look like anyone I've seen from the middle east. I thought they were of the seed of Abraham like it says in the Bible and originally from the land of Israel. Shouldn't they look something like the other people from that region of the middle east?

My neice's wedding is next month, and I'd like to purchase something that I could wear again, like perhaps to work,or something. I found a nice pant suit, with a jacket that's got austrian crystals on it,quite elegant, but it's black. I thought it was ok in this day and age, however the woman at the dress store thought it was inappropriate.. Any feedback on this one?I believe her wedding is 3 pm

have you ever pondered that maybe some homosexuals didn't really choose to be gay?

most christians say that they have considered the evidence and observed homosexuals enough to say for certain that homosexuals choose to be gay

any homosexual will tell you that they know they didn't "choose" to be gay just like we don't choose to be straight.

you would think that people who are actually gay would be a better judge on how they aquired their homosexuality than people who aren't gay.
why can't you take them for their word when they tell u that they felt it just as naturally as it felt to you when you blossomed into heterosexual love as an adolescent?

because the veracity of christianity is on the line?

There are two babies, One of them took birth in a Christian Family and another took birth in a Hindu family. So both of them grew up, learning religion along the way given by their parents, one reads the Bible, the Hindu baby reads the Bhagavad Gita and both are convinced that both are the truths, after leading long lives. A Christian dies as a Christian and the Hindu dies as a Hindu. Both of them lead good lives, performing pious activites.

So based on Christian understanding, the Christian ascends to heaven while the Hindu dwells in Hell (Forever and ever and ever).

So what did the baby do to be born into a Hindu family ??? why can't that baby take birth into a Christian family in the first place and get to read the bible and have parents who teach with regards to Jesus. So is God unfair ?? we are talking about hell forever in just one life...

I can easily refute this using Reincarnation, but it seems the concept of ONE LIVE...heaven or hell...is too childish for me.
