im christian but all you lot are going on about muslims being bad!!! i dont condone terrorism i belive that is wrong and they are being mislead however least they have faith.... half the chritains i no have never been to church in fact i dont no one. like my brother hes an alcoholic as for my dad my mom doesnt belive in god im the only one that does!!! you never see a muslim girl getting pregnant before marriage do you, at the end of the day its not the religion that makes a person bad its the person!!!!! stop critercising people and start looking at your own lives becuase we have no right to judge people only god has the right to do that!!!! As for terrists its haram to kill someone the only creature that has the right to take away someones life is god. Also, it’s a sin to commit suicide.. theres wrong and right in evry religion why cant people just make peace? Why cant we stop having these wars in different countrys? We alll come from the same god so don’t you think he is going to be angry with us fighting on another!!!!!!

so this might be a bad question to ask in the LGBT section considering most of us probably aren't all that straight, but do you think straight people fantasize about members of the same sex and they just don't admit it? if a "straight" person thought of members of the same sex in a sexual way often, do you think it means that he/she really isn't all that straight? just curious what you guys think...

Are we supposed to judge people who do not believe as we do? I thought that was God's job. On the other hand, the answers I received from most atheists for my questions were friendly and open. What does that tell you?

I read a lot of answers on this forum that state that we as mere humans can not possibly hope to understand God. But many of these same people turn right around say that those who do not follow their idea of God are wrong. Surley they realize how hypocritical that is. If no one understands God then how can you know you are right? It could be that you are wrong. It could be that your idea of God is right but that everyone else's is right as well. Maybe no one is right or all the ideas have some truth in them. What do you think? Do you think we will ever understand God? Do you think that only one idea of God is right or that all have merrit? Are you/do you know of anyone who seems to follow the above description and what do you think of it? Any other ideas you'd like to speak of.

(btw, when I say God I mean any idea not just the Christian one for that too is an idea of God.)

I would consider my own views closer to athiesm than mono/polyethism, as the concept of organized religion is a paradox in my view. I know you base your belief on the fact that there is no scientific evidence of a 'God,' but what if there was an advancement in superstring theory, one that proved undeniably that something had to have created all that we know? would you require more proof? Or would you consider current research to be wrong?

Questions over and over again.. The answers never change. They are just repeted over and over again.. Are people answering these questions, just for two points? Or do they really want to share their experiences?... Or are there people like myself that just ignore so many of these same questions question....... If they had a ghostly experience why not just tell us about it instead of worrying what other people will think of them... This last week alone I received over a hundred e-mails asking me did I really see a ghost.. But the poeple that really could use some sound advice.. never reply directly it is always a friend of a friend that seen a real ghost and what kind of advice can you give them........... And you know that the person that is asking the question is the one that had the spititual encounter... Why are so many people worried about what a stranger may think of them? When they don't put gas into your car or food on your table...................

We're never able to find any common ground in this section (usually), yet we all band together to "go after" Polls & Surveys.

Do you find this to be true in other areas of life? For example -- the brief unity that America found after 9/11 when we all came together in the spirit of fighting terrorism?

Is the only way for opposing groups to stop hating each is finding a completely different group to hate?
