Norma McCorvey, the Jane Roe, in Roe vs. Wade never lied.

I know the whole story and its a bit too much to type.

She wanted an abortion but since it was against the law, she complained to some lawyers and then she had the baby.

Later she read about the case in the newspaper.

Her lawyers never bothered to call her and tell her themselves.

Many years later, Norma would become a Chrisitan.

She never lied about having an abortion. When she wanted her abortion a woman could only get one if she'd been raped. She tried to lie about being raped, and tried the back alley approah but chicken out. She found some lawyers to try and make abortion 'safe' and legal...her lawyers used her, not really caring what her story was...they just wanted abortion legal. She ended up having the baby and putting it up for adoption before the case could go to trial.

Norma McCovey was baptised Catholic in 1995 and deeply regrets her role in the abortion case.

I am aware that she didn't have the abortion. Apparently, the fetus refused to wait while the case dragged on, and wanted out after, oh, about 9 months.

I don't know that she lied.

As for her religion and her stand on abortion since the case, that's her prerogative. It's not a crime to change her mind in the USA like it is in Afghanistan.

Do you know what year she was pregnant? Abortion was legal in the state of New York in, I believe, late l970. Was she pregnant before or after that? If after, why did she not go to New York?
