so this might be a bad question to ask in the LGBT section considering most of us probably aren't all that straight, but do you think straight people fantasize about members of the same sex and they just don't admit it? if a "straight" person thought of members of the same sex in a sexual way often, do you think it means that he/she really isn't all that straight? just curious what you guys think...

I am straight and I've had both dreams as well as fleeting thoughts about sexual contact with the same sex. The word "fantasize" is one that I wouldn't use to describe that, however. I've never felt an urge or desire to be sexual with other males.

It's like having thoughts of death or suicide, but with no actual plan or intent to commit it.

What I think is that our sexuality and conscious and subconscious minds are always at work. I believe that people can be completely taken off guard by a fantasy about a member of the same sex, while never having a conscious desire to act upon this thought.
So to answer your question........they can be straight as an arrow and have a fleeting thought or dream about the same sex.
Cheers!

Yes, straight people of the same sex fantasize of members of the same sex. It's completely normal. Just because that happens dosen't mean they're gay (although most of them are).

Just because you fantasize about members of the same sex, you aren't gay or bi. It means either:

A) You're curious.
or
B)You're just dreaming. Dreams don't care if you're straight, although they have a big impact, they don't really change depending on your sexuality.

Probably everyone has had at least one thought about being with the gender they don't normally prefer.

I don't fantasize about other women. I do fantasize about men other than my spouse.
