Because the people in the synagogues at the time of Jesus were posers and greeks=pharisees and romans=saduccees. Political appointees of first Marc Antony and then Ceasar when the Romans picked up where the greeks left off. The real Jews weren't even allowed in Jerusalem or there own temple at the time of Jesus. Which is why he taught on hillsides and such. Remember when he told the 'common people' he was always teaching that they could worship God anywhere and didn't need to be worried about not being allowed in? The Grecco-Roman church is telling on itself right there in it's own scripture, the "new" testament.

The verse says: Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but lie. This is a reference to people who aren't jews but claim to be. I don't know exactly who did back when this was written, but neo-nazis groups of today like to claim they are the ones the biblical promises to the Jews now apply to. Maybe the reference was to similar people of the 1st century.

Jesus was a Jew and also the Messiah. Peter and Paul were Jews and so were most of the Apostles.
However so were the Pharisees who Jesus condemned.
When he comes back to earth it says some people will be chosen out of all races and tribes and people's and tongues.
Some are good people and some are bad people.
the Jews he was referring to was the religious leaders and he said of them They were a synagogue of Satan.
the bible also shows that Jesus is going to condem some of the religous leaders on the earth today.
They would be saying to me Lord Lord did we not do powerful works in your name? He will say I never knew you get away from me you workers of lawlessness.

I'd like to know specifically where you read that.
Keep in mind Jesus showed his frustration with the Pharises and others who preached the law but didn't follow it themselves. They taught the wrong things. Is that along the lines of what you're referring to?

He did not say that
Gods chosen people are the decedents of Abraham whom are scattered all over the world. God is rounding them up in the last days, which is soon. The Jews let the Romans crucify Jesus and they will have a chance to believe in him during tribulation. The church will be rapture at this point.

He didn't.
He said the money-lenders had turned the temple, the House of God, into a den of thieves. But that was not a general condemnation of the Isrealites.

And where/when did Jesus say this? I don't believe that He did call all Jews anything like that.
