I don't think I understand your question. Most churches I've visited have musical instruments AND singing.
Please Clarify!!!

DidNotKnow,
According to the New Testament Scriptures, we are told to "sing". There is NO Referenece to musical Instruments being used in the New Testament Church. The scriptural references to singing are found in Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16; and in Matthew 26:30. We are told in Revelation 22:18-19 that it is sinful to add to or take from GOD's WORD, yet there are a number of churches who do so anyway. Why is that?? Have a wonderful week!
Thanks,

Some people believe that since the New Testament only talks about singing to the Lord that musical instruments don't have a place in worship.
Romans 14:4 Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
Here's an examination of the debate http://www.focusmagazine.org/Articles/musicNT.htm

You do realize that there are MANY scriptures in the Bible referring to musical instruments, including the "trumpets of Zion." A church that only has a choir is not sinning, nor is a church with a full worship band...

You are referring to the Church of Christ regarding singing unaccompanied. In the bible it says "Praise God with your voices" which is something they take so literally that they do not allow musical instruments in their church.
It isn't a matter of who is obeying and who isn't, it is more a matter of the different interpretations - that is why we have so many churches to choose from. We can worship with the church who our beliefs are in line with. We all feel that our way is the true way which is part of how we are faithful. To each his own.

Being with God is the most trascending act a human being can do. When you are in deep contact with Him sometimes is natural to sing for Him.
Being with God is a joyous act, that is why people plays music and sings in churches.

We're supposed to make music in our hearts to the Lord, so if you have talent to play a musical instrument, play it with all of your heart. If you have a voice that can sing with the angels, sing with all of your soul. If you can clap, clap with all of your might.
Just let it be from your heart and God doesn't care whether you play a musical instrument or sing. He just loves music.

I grew up in the C of C and sing 4 section accapella ok. maximum of my existence grew to become into spent sitting in church dealing with rote motions. Salvation purely after baptism, no contraptions, Lord's supper each Sunday.....Legalism every person? it is not with the aid of works that we are stored so as that no guy might boast! it is not with the aid of water that we are stored yet with the aid of Christ's blood! there is not any point out of frequency of the Lord's supper everywhere in the Bible. To argue and carry company ideals is a controversy of private opinion and guy's traditions! The Pharisees got here to John on the river to be baptised, no longer with the aid of fact they repented, yet with the aid of fact they heard that baptism grew to become right into a step mandatory for salvation. John, a guy from God, suggested as them a,"brood of vipers!" Do you remeber the final time God had some thing to do with a snake? A God that curses the viper greater effective than something in all creation and then a guy from God utilising that style to discuss with you. i think of we ought to continually supply up adult adult males's traditions, supply up judging one yet another and initiate loving the Lord and one yet another like we've been created to do! examine your Bible on a daily basis. A.

Saint Paul said He who sings Prays twice. Whenever I sing in church I feel as though God is smiling. How bad could that be?

In my church we play musical instruments and sing along at the same time. I'm not sure what you mean.
