I am assuming you are talking about hell so I will answer accordingly.

Hell is a concept that has had many meanings over the centuries. Many people believe that it is a physical place made up of fire and brimstone and that people who chose Satan rather than God will spend all of eternity being burned in its flames. I honestly don't know whether or not a physical place exists.

I count on a personal relationship with God to lead me in my beliefs and thus far anyway, God has not made any statement to me regarding this concept.

Personally however (and I could be wrong being that I am using my own judgement), I believe that Heaven and Hell are direct opposites which to me means that Heaven is eternity in the presence of God (which is joyful) and Hell is eternity without knowing the presence of God (which to me would be horrible).

No reason to believe that, for the Bible really does not teach that. This is a traditional church teaching, formulated over the years from a fusion of religions, as the Church moved through the then-known world around the fourth century, and accepted into their teachings the common teaching of the peoples they were conquering politically, who were not even Bible believers.

Revelations 20:10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

"Why believe"? You do not have to believe. However if it is true, you will suffer more than you ever have at your worst moment. What if it is true? You will believe at one point. Right?

Hell is real and to get there you really don't have to do nothing , just live . To get to heaven , you have to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and live the life that He lived for us.
