I as a Jew never promised but when Jesus showed me he still loved me I let him into my heart to be my best friend and savior=and have never been sorry about it!

Verse nine refers to the Assumption of Moses, a book that is considered fake by the Church.

Verses 14-15 quote directly from the Book of Enoch, which is considered a fake by everyone except the Ethiopian Church.

It appears that the early Church was inundated with false prophecy and Apocryphal literature, and unable to differentiate between the fakes and the 'inspired'.

Any explanation for the confusion, Christians?

I see many questions and answers indicating that someone is trying to "silence" Christianity, however society is actually trying to allow all the minority religions a fair voice. Do you have a problem with protecting the religious freedom of ALL religions? Shouldn't the government be impartial? Is it really persecution to simply discontinue promotion of Christianity by the government in favor of a religion neutral government?

Just thought I'd see what you guys think.

What the hell are we teaching our kids? Recently I was out of town and I watched my friends son play t-ball and some kid asked who was winning and a parent said we're all winners here. Now I was confused isn't there supposed to be a winner and loser. I know what you're thinking they're just kids, but we fill their heads with this nonsense that everyone is a winner. We must show them that with hard work and determination you can be the best. We must teach them that, yes you're going to loose sometimes, yes you will fall down, but get back up and try again. You know the people who come up with this crap are sending our country right down the sh!ter. Just look around you life is a big game full of winners and losers, that's why we have the rich and the poor. You know we can't all be great at everything and I know we want are kids to do good, but we need to stop feeding this crap to them.

My youngest son who is 17 y.o. is openly gay to anyone who cares to listen and the other son who is 20, insists to me he isn't gay but tells others he is. The youngest son says he has known since he was 7. I somehow missed the clues. I don't know how to react to either of them about their lifestyles because they're so secretive.

I felt sooo awful & today the terrorist capture people & leave signs of torture. So?

My prayer is that there is an international (in all nations) hotline number that victims or those who know about victims can freely call & let us know who is torturing people & where they are.

Is this possible to do. Through satalite?

There needs to be an international army to help the victims of unwarrented imprisonment & torture. That also is freedom of religion where people can't be put to prison, torture & death for their faith.

Can we accomplish this somehow?
