Because the Scientology policy for dealing with attacks is "always attack back, never defend". Honestly, Hubbard said that (or something very similar... I'm obviously paraphrasing).
And hey, haven't you ever heard of their official policy called "Fair Game"?

Can you give me an example? If you say something and is the truth you can't be sue. You can only be sue successfully if are lying, in that case you deserve to be sue. Really that is just a stereo type you are mentioning. South Park never heard of Scientology after that episode!

Scientologists are like Muslims. Any attack, no matter how minor or well intentioned, demands an immediate and violent counterattack. I can see the scientologists becoming terrorists just as bad as muslims. Both religions are based on false teachings and are patently ridiculous
