No, this Christian can't prove that to you. I don't recall the well known poet who said it, but a quote from him is; "All of nature teaches me to believe there is a God." Obviously that isn't proof, but it serves to indicate that this was a man who had given great thought to the subject and came to a conclusion that supports my contention that there is a God. If, as you contend, there is no God, none of us will ever know it because death will bring the end of a person's existence. In my case, I will have lived a happy life as a Christian and my life will not have been a loss. However, if there is a God, you're in BIG trouble! If you're really interested in the subject, there is an exceptional book I would suggest. Its entitled, God, the Atom, and the Universe." Its written by a nuclear scientist who, like you, is (was) and atheist.

Neither theism nor atheism can be 'proven' in the same way as cellular divide by osmosis can be proven. I'm also interested to know why you require a Christian to prove the existence of God for you-why even a monotheist? The Christian God is not the only possible God, not by a fair shot.
I will leave you with this thought, however-

""Underlying [scientific materialism] is the assumption that, in the final analysis, matter, as it can be described by physics and as it is governed by the laws of physics, is all there is. Accordingly, this view would uphold that psychology can be reduced to biology, biology to chemistry, and chemistry to physics. My concern here is not so much to argue against this reductionist position (although I myself do not share it) but to draw attention to a vitally important point: that these ideas do not constitute scientific knowledge; rather they represent a philosophical, in fact a metaphysical, position. The view that all aspects of reality can be reduced to matter and its various particles is, to my mind, as much as metaphysical position as the view that an organizing intelligence created and controls reality."

Only if you are willing to look inside your own heart and soul for the evidence will you ever come to realizing evidence of Him. You have already discounted the marvels of His creation with your far superior intellect and reasoning ability. All that is left is witness of yourself, and the emptiness that only you know you are denying. You are your own god and will not be denied. Your denial is more worthy of respect than any proof.
What do you want from Christ? Why have you bothered to take the time to seek more opportunity to deny? What really drives you? Why is it so important that you attack in order to defend that which you say could never be harmed?

Jedi Maiden, sensible question. No i do no longer think of so. it fairly is in easy terms a assertion. yet whilst science has defined some issues, it fairly is deduced that it could clarify extra issues. How lots can it tutor? there is the question. yet God won't be able to be "shown" in that sense. Who is familiar with there could be a God besides the undeniable fact that it fairly is actual no longer Bible God. No God could behave in that way.

I think you already know that there is no concrete proof that anyone can provide you with.
what we have are personal experiences and faith. I have felt God in my life and have found a joy in being close to Him.
That is not something I can show you on here, but if you were to truly seek Him, I bet He would reveal Himself.

I doubt it, but I'll try. He so loves the world that He included a spell checker on Answers, that we all may use it and avoid mistakes, and yet some refuse to utilize this power given unto us by Him.

No, it's not possible.

Be honest, do you WANT to believe? If you do, ask God to help you. If you even want to want to believe, ask God to help you.

Meanwhile, read books by apologetics: Try Josh McDowell, Lee Strobel, Ralph Muncaster, John Ashton M.D.

I can easily provide more.

But none of it will help unless you want to believe.
