Kingdom Coming: The Rise of Christian Nationalism? What did you think of her book and this movement?

you get angry with him...would you question him?
Question is not to point out proof or nonproof of God but more a situation where the proof was in the matter where you could question him...would you and would you be content with "It was my will" type answers regarding all the injustices in the world or your life.
And I am not talking about man infuences like someone getting hit by a drunk driver...but things that are unexplainable by man such as:
Autism, spina bifida or other "born disabilities"
Mental disabilities.
AIDS (and dont even say this is the Gay's disease)
Those type of things or anything else you can think of that man has no control over.

Am friendly with Couple A who invite us to dinner and I think it will just be the 4 of us, when we arrive there are other couples included. Usually, this would not bother me, but Couple Bs wife does not acknowledge my presence. Couple A invited us for a barbeque at their home, and then called me to let me know that the locale was switched Couple B's home. A few hours later I contacted Couple A, stating we would not be attending the gathering, as I was tired (true). Hours later Couple B husband called to ask if we were coming for dinner. I thanked him for the invitiation, put declined the offer. Was it appropriate for Couple A to invite me to Couple B's home (as I had never received an invitation from them)? We've all known each other for 2 years, but I feel Couple B never takes an initiative to invite or include others in their plans.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to answer this question. Please visit biblegateway.com and look up the passages Romans 10:9 and 1 Corinthians 15:26-28. The word "Lord" is used 9 times in the Bible. The "Lord" used for Romans 10:9 was used to refer to a Roman emperor, a prince, a chief, a master (probably of a slave), and other people. We could not replace Lord in the phrase Jesus is Lord with prince because Jesus technically is not a prince (or maybe not) He, according to the Bible, is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. It might mean something along the lines of Jesus is Master, but don't take my word for it. Does 1 Corinthians 15:28 contradict Jesus' Lordship by saying that Jesus will be made subject to God (probably the Father). How can Jesus be Lord of Lords and King of Kings and still be made subject to the Father? Therefore, is the Father "Lord"? Please do not give me a simplistic, "Because it's the Trinity, just believe they're equal." Please, give me your input.

This person is alive, just not anywhere that I can reach her right now. Everything seems duller when she's not with me; it all feels a bit off, somehow. She cannot be here right now due to extenuating circumstances. I understand and accept this - but what to do when I miss her so much it becomes difficult to function? How do you all cope with missing a lover, a partner, a mate when you simply cannot be with them, at least not for awhile? She is all of these to me.

Please keep in mind that I am much more a homebody than anything else and going out to parties or clubs is just not my thing. I have friends, I do things, but every single thing pales in comparison to how I feel with her, how amazing she is, and how I wish we could be sharing these moments together. HELP! She is my heart.

(Yes, I know I'm lucky to have her at all. I ask because not getting to see her often just derails me sometimes. It's hard to function while I'm feeling so sad; it depletes my senses and grays my world).

I've heard the question "why are there atheists on Y! R&S?" 4 times on this forum so I decided Ya know what let's make it illegal for atheists to be R&S because they aren't religious and illegal for humans to go to the pets section because they aren't pets and illegal for people who aren't scientists to get on the science section.

see the thing is,every time something abominable is done in the name of christianity,it's explained away by christians saying "they aren't true christians".even day to day things like racism are given that explanation-unfaithfulness to spouse, being judgemental...etc etc...all these things, the minute they're questioned, leads to "they aren't real christians"...

so by the means of deductions such as this, are there ANY true christians in this world?

That means the image of it that we're seeing now is 2.5 million years old because it took the light that long to reach us.
This is yet another way we understand how old the universe is, and there are objects in space that are much farther away.
