There is only one archangel and that's Micheal. Angels don't have genders but I guess most closely identify with being masculine than feminine and tend to take on male human forms more than women. I think it's possible that there are angels that more closely identify with females.

The Archangel, who's name is Michael is male. The Bible says HE disputed, with the devil
I don't believe there are any female angels. In the Bible, angels are only spoken of as he, never she.

Angels are non-gender. They can't reproduce, each are created.
Man has used the names of the angels for their sons, as to take on the characteristic of "messengers of God". We recognize the names as masculine.
Extra info:
Parents will often name their children according to the attributes that they want their children to possess. Popular Christian names come from the apostles. Popular Jewish names come from the Torah or Old Testament. For Christian girls parents will get straight to the point of the attribute they want their daughter to possess: Faith, Hope, Glory or Gloria, Chastity, Angel ...etc...

No. Angels are pure spirits and as such do not have gender. We assign male names to some of them because when they appeared to human beings, they appeared in the form of young men. But that is not their nature.

No way. Catholicism is way too mysogenist to have any female archangels.
