#1) They have the $$$ to do more expensive, exciting things
#2) Celebrity-type "upper class people" make their money by selling their image, so they do "dramatic" (usually stupid) things to make money
#3) Our lives are exciting too, we just don't make enough millions to appear on Entertainment Tonight ;)

Upper class people have lives that are not dramatic. What ever happens to them besides consuming and trying to make drama out of nothing?

Well, first of all, I don't think anyone is upper class. Yes some have more money, fame, property, things and attention. But when it comes down to it, most that have been " privileged" could not take care of themselves if needed. Plus, having already eliminated the "upper class" we are all just equal and anyone that claims being upper class makes them less scared or unsure or unhappy or afraid to die ( which we all do regardless of class) is full of crap.

Could be they are so insecure they need to have drama to validate their little lives

Well not all of them are. But I think most of them are so dramatic because they really don't realize or appreciate what they have so they make everything dramatic.

People are what they make it. I know what you mean though. I don't want to divulge too much personal info, but there is one really "Dramatic" issue in my life which pertains to our money.
