see the thing is,every time something abominable is done in the name of christianity,it's explained away by christians saying "they aren't true christians".even day to day things like racism are given that explanation-unfaithfulness to spouse, being judgemental...etc etc...all these things, the minute they're questioned, leads to "they aren't real christians"...

so by the means of deductions such as this, are there ANY true christians in this world?

My grandmother was one. She practiced what she preached.

As and atheist, why do you care? You rant because we answer, you rant if we don't. If we answer, we are "forcing our beliefs down your throat". It doesn't really seem to matter what the answer is, you basically just seem to be out to bait people. Your mind seems to already be made up.

But I will answer, so that others who view this question can make up their own minds.

The answer: There are very few "True Christians". They do not get involved in politics or wars. They are not racist because they know that from one blood all mankind was made (Acts 17:26 ).

The Church founded by Yashua was hijacked and is unrecognizable as the Church found in the New Testament.
however, a remmant of that original Church of God survives.

Just how few "True Christians" will God see at the end of this age?

Revelations 7:4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

How does God identify them?

Revelations 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ

There are many. They aren't perfect, but they seek to follow Jesus sincerely.
You object to the answer "so and so who does such a thing is not a true Christian". If a member of the communist party owns a huge amount of capital, and encourages private enterprise, is he a "true communist"? If an atheist prays to God every night is he a "true atheist"?
Christianity is following Jesus, and I think most people would agree that a number of the items you mentioned contradict the following of Jesus.
On the other hand a "true Christian " is far from perfect. True Christianity is not about being perfect. It is about being forgiven, and on being on a path of transformation. That is why some people are "true Christians" who still have some level of those faults you mentioned, but who are unhappy about it and wanting to change, or else they have been changing in several important matters, but have not yet become aware of some of those things in themselves.
For example, imagine a person who has a background of violent racism, is a drug pusher, a liar, sexually aggressive with a number of people, etc. etc. Now he comes to Christ. A year later, he is depending on God's grace and forgiveness, he is no longer violent, seeks to tell the truth (and when he finds himself lying, will confess it to the person he lied to, even when embarrassing to him), becomes a one-woman man, no longer sells drugs, although still struggles with the use of marijuana, and he has not yet dealt with his attitude toward a certain race in general (although he does not show personal hatred toward individuals). Is he a genuine Christian? I would say yes, definitely. Because he is progressing, and he is aware of His need of God's grace.

Anyone can claim to be a Christian, but if their actions, attitudes and love aren't emulating Jesus' life, then it doesn't matter what such people claim to be. Anyone can claim to be a Christian but that doesn't mean they are. Christians follow Christ. Not everyone who claims to be a Christ-follower is following Him at all.

But to answer your question, yes, there are a lot of true Christians in the world. But the good things they do usually don't make headlines, which is why the only ones we hear about are the bad actors who aren't Christians at all.

yes there are. you cannot explain away someone elses actions.people who are racist, people who cheat, people who are judgemental.how can you explain why they are the way they are.we as christians do have the ability to see wrong in everybody else but ourselves and this is wrong.to be a christian is simply accepting the lord jesus as our savior and repent of all of our sins and read our bible and obey his word.thats all .once the word we read is working in our own lives the light will begin to shine so others will say wow i want what that person has.but we must remember that we are human and we all sin and fall short of the glory of god .we are to walk in love, peace, joy longsuffering and not judge others but pray for those who do not know the way.we all are ex something or another and it was only by gods grace that we were not consumed.so i say i am a real christian because i know what its like to be pre judged.i am still just a sinner who is saved by gods marvelous grace amen

Yes, certainly.
Why is that hard for you to imagine?

Does a true christian have to be absolutely perfect? Of course not.

It hypocracy hard for you to understand? I mean, sorry but if you read the new testament, you can determine that racism is AGAINST what is preached there.

In particular, in Acts there is a guy from ethiopia that takes christianity there and there is the tale of the good samaritan.

There is a standard by which you can judge. I mean, that is the advantage of the bible. While there are ambiguities, ..., there are themes that are pretty consistant.

As for unfaithfulness to one's spouse, that is described as sin. You can't be a christian and believe its right but christians are humans. You certainly cannot cheat on your wife int he name of god.

yes there are but you need to understand that even true Christians sin. We all do. In my perception a "true Christian" is one who knows their own faults, has a relationship with God and tries to not sin. But no matter how hard we try we all do sin. A real Christian can admit their mistakes and not hide behind Christianity as an excuse.

YES, MORE THAN 1,READING THE HOLY BIBLE DAILY TO
FIND THE TRUTH, BE IN TRUTH TO KNOW THE TRUTH,FOR THE ANTICHRIST IS WITH US.
WE ARE BORN IN SIN,BUT GOD IS PERFECT.
How the Christian should live
Ti:2:11: For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Ti:2:12: Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Ti:2:13: Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Ti:2:14: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Ti:2:15: These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Ti:3:1: Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
Ti:3:2: To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

I do not subscribe to that thinking. I am in no position to judge whether someone is a "true Christian" or not.
Sure I have my opinions about it, like the Westboro Baptist church in the States, they have what I believe to be VERY unbiblical statements of faith, but only God can ddecide who is a true Christian.

There are always true Christians. But even true Christians make mistakes or else Jesus wouldn't have had to die on the cross for our sins.

Someone said nearly this exact same thing earlier.

I am a real true Christian...but you see, I speak only for me. So...others will speak for themselves. I do not use the negative "they are not real Christians"...I will use "Christians do not hate" or "they are not yet matured Christians whose faith has stood the test of time", but mostly I just speak for myself as each one of us must.
