That is sooo funny because each generation can claim the good ole day line.
For me, the good ole days were the sixties and the televising of our social revolution or the denial of it's existence. For my parents the good ole days were when they made wine in their basement and didn't go to jail or wore silk stockings once a week to work because they were expensive to replace.
The good ole days to some could be when they sat and watched human beings, christians specifically being torn apart by lions.
So can you describe your good ole days?

up to he 80's
rap was a tapping or talking

problems in schools:
smoking
talking to neighbor
chewing gum

gay was a very happy person
homosexuality was a sin like all sin (including other sexual sin).

Americans were doing most jobs now reserved for illegals

kids could go to the store,park,a friend and had little concern about things kids have to be concerned about today.

TV and movies were light years different.

You didn't have to be rude,obnoxous,etc. to be considered normal.

Girls and boys actually could be virgins.

respect of authority and parents was good.

an average person and sometimes a family could live on one income.

What was PCs:
Personal computers
Political Correctness

Most musicians had some ability to sing.

It was ok to be a christian and tell about Jesus.

I wasnt around at the time but history states 40's thru the early 60's then the drug problem started and church and state crap happened. Now every other person thinks they are Gay.

Each decade had it's own. i was brought up in the 60's.except for Vietnam, everything was care free and help your neighbor.times like then were for me " the good old days".
For people who remember when THEY were brought up and had the foundest of memories, was the GOD's.

When I was a little girl and I didn't have a care in the world other than when I would get dessert or who I would play with. Ahhh innocence....
