Describe Prayer - what are you doing when you pray - how do you pray, etc etc.

Usually have dreams of these "beings." I ask "Are you an angel?" To which some reply "yes" and others "no." They I ask "Do you believe in God?" The answers are the same. Then I ask "Do you believe Jesus Christ is the son of God?" The answers are either yes or no. I then ask "Is Jesus Christ Lord and Savior?" To which some reply yes ... and I know in their presence they are angels .. they are comforting ... non intimidating, happy and warm to be around. Usually by the first or second question I am sending them away because they fit my Biblical test of being considered demons. I found a passage in the Bible that says anyone who considers thierself an angel will acknowledge both the Father and the Son. So far, I have seen maybe ... a handful of angels ... not even that maybe. The angels never give info about the future ... but give me a sense of divine power and love that I have in my heart and spirit ... and help me know what I am a part of without even saying a word. Angel?

I haven't done one in yrs. but have had quite a few experiences in the past a very long time ago.
Once before we had moved several states over, 'something' contacted us and told my MOther that our gasgit in the car would blow.....it was weird because in NC it happened, (half way to our destination). It also told us the nickname of a boy that we would meet in the neighbor hood named "Rocky". THat happened as well.
Yrs. later my friend and I got on the ouji and it said (predicted) how much she'd win at atlantic city during her trip. low and behold she came back home w/that amount of winnings. what about you? what were some of ur experiences?
A very long time ago, a friend of ours Grandmother claimed that while one does the board that if you place a bowl of salt water next to it, that would keep away any harmful spirit...has anyone else ever heard this?

As of mid-2005, there are 195 Roman Catholic dioceses in the U.S. They have paid a total of over $1.5 billion dollars in settlements since 1950, all over child sexual abuse cases.

Yet people continue to tithe to the church. (The number of donors has fallen in the past few years, but the amount contributed overall has held steady.)

I'm confused. Why do congregants keep forking over money?

Christian-
How did the universe come about? ummm, thinking is too hard. I'll just say God did it. That's a lot easier on the brain

How did the Universe come about? I'll do some research. Maybe the big bang. It couldn't be God because where did he come from?

I just don’t understand how come people still write checks at busy places like Wal-Mart & supermarkets this day and age. Seriously, it is bad enough you have to wait in line to begin with but these jerks then take time to write a check and some even inconsiderate enough to record the transaction in the checkbook while still in line. These are not old people either!!! What good reason can they have for doing this? Get a debit card for crying out loud!!

I have strong feelings for this "straight girl" i know ...we're somewhat good friends. We try to get togther and hang out once a week, but I see her a few times a week cause she works in a restaurant that the leasing office I work at manages. I'm 21, bi-femme, attractive looking (im pretty boastful :-) ) So anyway...at first when we first met we were cool, but with me; when I like someone im pretty obvious...so she kinda figured I was into girls. She knows now I have a crush on her, and she claims she is secure enough to be cool with it, finds it flattering and likes the attention I give her. I don't know how straight girls are when u find out a girl likes u but, I have a weird feeling she is into me as well. Maybe im overanalying..but she's invited me over to hangout and we ended up talking for hours getting to know eachother(she would ask me questions about being with a girl)...which kind of made me think she was curious at times but she would remind me she's never kissed a girl b4
