I was thinking of some good movies I saw a while back, like High Art, or one that I like even more is All Over Me, with Leisha Hailey and Mary Timony plays in it :). I like movies about music, or anything really, anything good you can recommend for me?

Hedwig and the Angry Inch is a must-see, plus it's about really great music- the kind that makes you go out and buy the soundtrack.
Some of my other favorites are: Better Than Chocolate (sweet), But I'm a Cheerleader (cute), Trick (adorable), Latter Days (dramatic), Brokeback Mountain (sad), and Another Gay Movie (funny!).

Eating Out - a little on the trashy side but it's very good fun and has some great gay oriented humor in it.
Summer Storm - the hottest gay movie i've ever seen (for guys)... but it has a great storyline anyone can appreciate. Very highly recommended... it's german with english subtitles.
Come Undone - another movie with hot guys in it, but it is an intense coming of age story that guys and girls can relate to... french with english subtitles
Sordid Lives - dark comedy... it's sad, hysterical, rolls every emotion into a ball and presents them in the storyline of the ultimate white trash family.

Depends on the type of movie you are looking for. For a good time, try To Wong Fu, or Priscilla Queen of the desert. For something a little more somber, try Brokeback Mountain or Transamerica. For that American Pie type laugh, try Another Gay Movie.
Those are just off the top of my head, movies that i own. I am sure there are more out there, try checking IMDB and see what pops up.

hey I live in a small town - amazing how many lgbt movies there are in the library filed under "gay" - maybe you got that too in ur city

The Wedding Banquet (Chinese)
F*g Hag (Japanese)
The Birdcage (lots of stars)
Boys Don't Cry (but you will, a tragic tear jerker, true story)
Philadelphia (Denzel Washington...deals with aids)

watch "Come back to the five and dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean"---great cast --cher, sandy dennis, kathy bates, karen black...voted by some as the most powerful female acting in the movies for the year it was made...strong gay themes but not about lesbians...don't wanna give it all away by telling you..Try it--I think it's cher's best performance by far.

yet i'm a Cheerleader (outstanding action picture, extremely cute. relatively cautioned) yet another gay action picture (raunchy and humorous. Parody of teenager intercourse video clips) that's all i will think of of...wish i might desire to think of of greater.
