The quota system is fine to develop the under privileged but it should not be at the cost of merit or quality. At the end its the quality that we all strive for.
In such cases increase the total seats if you are increasing quota seats.

It is all political and the purpose of such quota is to create confusion and hatred among the present generation. Also, kill the originality and initiative of youngsters. One should take up this for a genuine research study to understand the damage being caused in our society.
