I hear from someone that according to the chinese, this is the year of the Muslim? Why?

This can't be true. The Chinese calendar was developed far before the advent of Islam.

Wow--if you know anything about Islam and the prohibition about pork, this is a *seriously* rude question. Did you mean it that way? Or need we start connecting other religions to "the year of the snake" etc?
