What type is it?
How often do you read it, and do you just read it straight through?
What do you use it for?
How do you decide what to read today?

Etc.

Tell me everything you can about YOUR BIBLE!

I hear a lot about the tooth fairy and santa and a lot about planes and bombs. I also hear a lot of anxiety and hate for the attempted conversions, ultimate truths and general feeling of the shovelling of anothers belief down thier neck - whatever the intentions of the shoveller.
Apart from an opposite view point do you have as much of a problem with these groups who are certaily in no way evangelical and infact most of them you have to deliberatly seek out the beliefs and teachings.
In short do you have as much anger and hate to these groups as well as the others?

Namaskar, How long does prana pratishta take? I have one dozen small Lord Shiva lingams each corresponding to the 12 Jyotirlingams of India made of various sacred materials. Only one Sri Vishvanatha is the main murti. I also have a ornate and expensive stone sculpture murti set of Sri Ganapati and Maheshvara. Do the statues need prana pratishta or only the main lingam? I am hiring my favourite Panditji. How much time do I need from him?

The US constitution was created as a document to live and grow along with the country. Has it just become a topic in 8th grade Civics and fodder for lawyers and politicians. We can Pledge Alligence to our flag and the republic for which it stands, we can party hardy every 4th of July and dress our environment all up in red, white and blue. And if some one has a heavy accent we, so called Americans, can feel justified in demanding that "if they can't learn the language, then get the hell out. I'm thinking that if you can't learn the spirit and language of your own constitution and conduct yourself accordingly you don't deserve it and you have no real standing to ***** about ANYONE ELSE. Why are we such a SELF-righteous people expecting others to live up to OUR expectations. Why are we so easily disappointed and ready to take up the role of the downtrodden?

I've been single for ages and with all due respect, I'm a great communicater, decent looking, socially aware, hard working, I dress well and am a good all round person. I also have a great sense of humour and am a paid stand-up comedienne - I'm thinking that could be an off putting thing for guys for a number of reasons including: making people laugh is a form of power; it can be quite an intimidating position and maybe guys think I have no emotions apart from those i display on stage. Can people help me out on this - am I on to something? do you think this is a factor in why I have been a single female for soooooo long? Thanks for your time, really appreciated.

if God is Omnipotent,,,,,,

He doesnt need to depend on any one, but according to "Quran" it is very obvious that God dottaly depends on mohammed

most of the time allah says "do what mohammed says you to do" that means, Allah is great or Mohammed is great.
of mohammed made allah a puppet.

Is it possible to use Yahoo Answers as a chatting or matchmaking/dating website? My cousin asked me to post this question. Even though I said it's no, she keeps forcing me to post this up.

Do we go to them where they are?

Do we see beyond anything they may have done in the past, and feel compassion for them?

Do we offer to help them?

Do we remember what Jesus Christ did for us, and do the same for them?

Do we extend this love to the whole of creation: to people all around the world, to every animal, and to the environment in which we live?

The Bible says we should.
Wouldn't this include Iraqi people?
Wouldn't this include Israel (God's chosen people)?
