Because you notice the times that your "knowledge" is correct, and forget about all the times that you "know" that you will meet someone, but then never do.
You also decide _after_ having met the person that you "knew" beforehand that you'd meet the person. It's called 'hindsight'.
It's a very normal flaw in how we make our understanding of the world - just a perfect example of the "out-of-touch-with-the-world" nature that makes some people believe in psychic phenomena.
If you pay a little more attention to the world around you, as you develop your awareness you'll notice that you really don't have any kind of magic powers.

That happens to me too! Sometimes I hear this ringing in my ear, and I'll hear my friend Charlie's voice, even though he lives on the other side of town, and it's like I can talk to him. And sometimes he'll ask if I want to go somewhere and if I say yes, I hear this clicking sound and he shows up at my door less than an hour later! It keeps happening! Am I psychic?

Because you think you are special and you have a hidden gift or something its all a coincident it does happen to me and that doesnt mean its not normal for anyone else
