I am gay and so I wouldn't be dating a girl.But some men who are so closeted to the point that they have to maintain a girlfriend in order to convince family/ friends/ co-workers that they are straight might do so while on the side they are out secretly dating other men.Sometimes they might be bisexual.Other times they are just very unhappy trying to live a big lie and sometimes they eventually come out after they have married and had kids because they can't stand that lie anymore.So, in a way, I guess the answer to your question for some guys is- yes.
