I took a poll about what does tongues mean according to God's word and only a handful got it right. The meaning of tongues in the bible means a language. So why does God need you to speak in Spanish or French or so on? The purpose of tongues was to witness to the lost. So my question in this is. Why don't you know what tongues mean?

Without Jesus Christ? who will walk threw the valley of death with you? accept Christ as your personal Saviour.. is the only way. without Jesus we can't see God, because Jesus is our redeemer, once you become a child of the LIVING God he will reveal himself to you..he loves us and wants us to love him with our own freewill. Glory to God! its so easy to to become his child..just ask him to come into ur heart.. forgive ur sins and you need to be sorry for ur sins, and really mean it when you ask him. and he will come. (Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyman open..i will come in) and he will be with you day and night always..even when you walk the vally of death, because we all will take that walk oneday.
in heaven there are no shadows because there is only light..no darkness..( i love jesus oh how i love jesus because he first loved me) don't let the muslems scare you...when our God returns to earth..he will deal with them..read Revlation in the Bible that should explain it

Lately, I have found myself totally snobbish towards British soap operas, particularly Eastenders (I haven't watched any episode of it, but I think it is a waste of license payer's money. ) and Hollyoaks (which I think is just downright rubbish). It has come to the point that I rant everytime about these soaps and how they negatively influence the British viewers. I am now completely into American stuff such as ER, 24, West Wing and Boston Legal.

Am I being ridiculously snobbish? Is this normal?

Hi folks, first of all is there any International japanese people out there who can answere this question? OR anyone who has visited/lived in japan? because i live in japan with my japanese husband, i am a white female, green eyes strawberry blonde hair, i admit folk are curious to see this white woman with a japanese man and 2 kids. Thing is people stare at me, this makes me so paranoid, i cant fathom out why someone has to look so long, i could stand in a queue and by chance the young woman infront of me would turn around and see me,then she would whisper to her friend then her friend would turn and get a good look at me,i totally hate it, i told my husband that this bothers me but he acted as if i was fishing for a compliment or something?? until one day i cried to him and he said perhaps its cos they are curious to me but WHY?? japanese woman look perfect. i cant tell whether the men here stare at me cos i am alien to them or whether they like white woman or not.Mostly woman stare.
