Are you refering to the opening of Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922, and the supposed curse related to some coincidental deaths? And the sinking of the Titanic in 1912? Doesn't make much sense, the Titanic sinks in 1912, ten years later the tomb is unearthed........ I don't think something that hadn't happened could influence something that happened 10yrs earlier.
The Titanic sank due a number of reasons, unsound building practises, bad timing etc, and an iceburg.
Sorry no mummies involved.

Legend has it that the Titanic was transporting an ancient cursed Egyptian mummy. It was nicknamed "The Ship Wrecker". It had several owners, bringing terrible misfortune to each one, and was eventually transported aboard the Titanic. It extracted a final revenge on the "Unsinkable Ship."

the titanic sank b/c of a few reasons, the story made popular by james cameron and MGM had fact behind the love story. The ship sank first b/c the sides were torn open by the scarping of the iceberg, it was also doomed to sink b/c it was being pushed by the captain and the ships benefactor. Misguidence helped lead the ship to where it sits today.

The Titanic had a design flaw when it was built. And when it hit that ice-berg. That design flaw came into play and the Titanic sank because of it...... End of story................................ The world also learned that if you are poor and sailing on a British Ocean Liner or any form of British transportation and there is an accident only the rich passengers will have a better chance of surviving..........

the actual cause was the iceberg, obviously, but it was carrying cargo that was said to be 'cursed' by an Egyptian mummy, its true. Its just whether you believe in curses or not really! if you do, then you might believe it was the curse made the 'unsinkable' Titanic crash.

No. It sank because it struck an iceberg. (I don't see how mummies cursing at their misbehaving children would sink the Titanic!)

Because 2 large pieces of matter (Iceberg and the Titanic itself)can't occupy the same space at the same time

The Titanic hit an iceberg, and there weren't enough lifeboats for everyone as the ship was considered unsinkable.

Yet I've heard this story before; here are some interesting sites for you to read:

It was just poor navigation and an ice berg that took down the Titanic.

no because it struck an iceberg. but the Captain was placing the Ship in danger by not using common sense as he was trying to set world speed record to get to New York.
