Yeah man, the Spirit of St Louis! I thought they were lying.

So let me ask you; was was there a beginning of time? If so, was it an actual point? If so, is there an end? How long has this world existed?

These are not questions of ignorance - some people don't believe in god because as more theories that agree with observation, it is becoming more obvious there is simply no need for a Creator.

Good day.

Yes, I agree!

However, one does not experience the Spirit by magic! One must specifically ASK the Holy Spirit to make Himself known. Keep in mind, too, that He knows full well who really wants to know for sure and who is lying! He won't waste time on anyone who doesn't want to really know!

(If this rubs some people's cat's fur the wrong way, let the cat turn around!)

The problem is that Christianity is not based on experiences it is based 100 % on faith, in Jesus Christ and His Word. If your expereinces, which are largely feelings, are not consistant with the Bible then you are deceived. That is the problem with the tongues movement today. What is being done creates great experiences, they just are not in the Bible. The tongues in the Bible were clearly explained, so the the tongues movement has had to claim that there are "other tongues" in order to continue their fabrication. God makes it clear the seriousness of this in Matt 7:22 "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'" These people had all the experiences, but they were not following the rules.

If you don't want to be mocked for your delusions, just shut the **** up. On the other hand, if you're looking for validation in an global chat room, expect to be called an idiot.

It really is that simple.

A religious friend of mine was intrigued by my interest in Christianity. She told me she would pray for a "conversion experience" to convince me that God exists. This was about 4 years ago. I'm still waiting.

Regardless of what I experience I would still mock anyone who mindlessly adheres to theological dogma. Religion is nothing.

Leviathan, I think you mean brain "cells".

If you have to ridicule someone, at least do it properly.

Good for you.

Just keep drinking those spirits.

The more brain souls you kill, the easier it will be for you to believe in your bronze age myths.
