that people of every religion believe that they have the truth
that their book is THE book
that their God is the true God
that their evidence is as equally as valid as your evidence
that their faith is as deep rooted and true to them as your faith
how can anyone say that they have the truth .... if everyone is saying the same thing ?

bible scholars have said that one word written in ancient text can have several differant meanings, people in my opinion miss out on the true meaning or message that was written, for example when god made the earth in seven days how is it not possible that he set the stage for the process of evolution

I have 47 purple toes growing out of my head. Will you accept this on faith? Why not? All of my family members know I have them. I've been on the news. Do you believe me?

If not, then how do you expect me to believe in god? With evidence perhaps? But I thought you were supposed to believe without evidence. If you can believe god with no evidence, why can't you believe me with no evidence. Or do you need evidence to support your faith?

I have had some conversations with people who are not Christians, and thier reaction is normally "You are not thinking" or "Your not reasoning". Do these people ever think that maybe the specific Christian they are talking to hasn't ALWAYS been a Christian, and USED to reject God and His ways, but then realized that it WAS the truth? Why must we be accused of not thinking logically?
