There is nothing new about the current Israel. The only difference is that there's more fighting and the people are called Israelis and not Israelites.

It didn't poof out of just anywhere. However, anyone with a basic understanding of historic cycles will find that any time you have an ethnic group remain in an area long enough, they fill found communities which will become villages which will become towns which will become nations, unless those people as truly wiped out.
Israel's existence isn't a miracle, as the Bible claims it would be ... it's a natural consequence of a collective guilty conscience of the western world after the Holocaust and the western nations using the 'spoils of war' philosophy.
You shoot yourself in the foot. It'd be BETTER evidence for your Bible if it just POOFED into existence. But since it can be explained as a perfectly logical consequence of the prevaling conditions of the time... it's a moot point.
"We're losing our land... why does G-D hate us?!" "Don't worry, this is just a test, Israel will be rebuilt."
It's called sour-grapes. "Oh, well, they're sour still, but if I return later they WILL be ripe."

I don't believe the Bible is talking about the modern-day state of Israel. It's talking about the Israel of the Maccabees. People who believe the "Daniel predicts modern world stuff" really need to sit down and read some books on the Intratestamental Period (example, I & II Maccabees in the "Apocrypha").

According to scripture the one and only church is the new Isreal. modern Christianity has corrupted the bible teachings on this since they are so divided they think there are many churches or that the one church of the bible is all of the divided denominational churches.

So what? Nostradamus predicted a lot of things with a lot more reliability than your bible... maybe we should worship him instead!
