Not only that, but when they go out of their way to say something like, "I have friends that are black.".

Mel Gibson did the same thing after his anti-Semitic remarks, he stated that he had several Jewish friends. That seems a little disingenuous.

It would be a perfect world if no one had to qualify their opinions but some people are so overly sensitive that they turn everything into racism whether it's intended that way or not. It's easier to be offended than to be mature enough to accept someone's honesty regardless of whether or not you agree with them.

That's a good question. It means they ARE racist and trying to defend themselves--and not doing a very good job.

sometimes but there are mannerisms and dialect in other races that provoke some people to say things like that,doesn't make them a racist.
