Shay this is not a Christian story but was from the book of Moses which makes it a God story...Now as far as a lack of understanding all mankind was blamed for the fall it was not merely women we all received death through sin.

Muslims amaze me the story wasthousnads of years before Christ and is from the book of Moses the first scriptures from God to man these scriptures the Christians share with all believers before them because we believe in God. Christ never changed any scripture of God but was in ageement with them. All prophets of God were always in agreement with God. The Qu'ran teachs this scripture is the holy scripture of God bevause Muhammed did not want to disagree with god but wanted to be a peophet of God who brounght an addition to his holy scripture as the Gospel was added to the word of God. Never did a prophet of God disagree with any of God's scripture but somehow Muslims allow for this. What I Now from what you guy's are saying. the qu'ran teachs man sined by eating the fruit of the forbiden tree (which is agreed in God's true word) but apparently the Qu'ran did not teach that God said the day you eat of it you will surely die? Mose's taught this was a consequence of sin.

It amazes me you believe Moses a prophet but do not believe what Mose's taught You believe Abraham a prophet but reject the teachings of Abraham. You call Jesus a prophet and reject the teachings of Jesus. and you calim they are all prophets and your God is my God. But everything ever taught before Muhammed is corrupt...thousands of years of teachings and prophesys all denied and called corupt nd yet you claim your God is my God?

Princess of course I read every word of your answers. I'm never quite sure why Muslims think the book of Moses came from Chrisitans are that we teach Eve only sinned. If you read the story in the Bible you will find that God said int he day you eat of it you will surely die and both sexes die still today. Death and sin entered thw rold on this day and death was not defeated until Jesus the son of God was resurrected....That of course in in the New Testament and is a Christian teaching but is in agreement with the word of God and there was never a reason for Christians to deny that which was taught by all the prophets of God previous to Christ.

Princess many Prophet fore told of the coming of Christ and the fact that he is God is clear to all who study the word of God Isaiah prophesied Imanuel which is God with us... David said the lord said to my lord set theeeon my rightt side untill I make thine enemies thy footstool. There are many prophesys of the coming Mesiah and many that show who he is. Christ was not accepted as God in the flesh by many Jews that too is prophesy.

LOL!!! Djmantx, you simply... interest me!!!
I wonder if you'll read my response...?... Completely?.. :P
Yes, we Muslims have a STRONG belief in that story--- except, Muslims believe that it was BOTH Adam and Eve who ate the fruit; neither is considered responsible for the sin of the other. NEITHER. The story of Adam and Eve is referred to in the Quran quite often, in fact.
Adam and Eve committed a sin when God had already told them that they could do anything they wanted to except get near (or eat from) that tree. They did it because Satan influenced them to do so--after all, we're all humans.
""O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and enjoy (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression." Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever." And he swore to them both, that he was their sincere adviser" (7:19 - 21).
7:22: "So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"
And so, God told them they sinned; they were very much ashamed of their sin; but God taught them a prayer (which is most commonly said by Muslims even today). "Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord Turned towards him; for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. We said: Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from me, whosoever follows My guidance, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve" (2:37, 38). The prayer is, "Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost" (7:23).
But anyway, I doubt you're gonna accept this answer. Look, the Muslims are going to believe the Quran is the Truth, ok? NOTHING you (or any non-Muslim) tells us can sway us from the Truth of the Quran. The Quran has NOT been proven false by ANYONE, and even scientists, historians, and geologists are accepting it as the True word of God, silly. Jesus (peace be upon him) taught EXACTLY what God told him to teach his people, just as every other prophet (including Muhammad!!) did; but people just distorted his teachings so God sent Muhammad (peace be upon him). No prophet taught that Jesus is the son of God, or that a man called Jesus will be coming to the earth and will be God in actuality but will be coming just to die for the sins of his followers. Every prophet taught that God is ONE and ONLY One, that He is PURE, that HE is the Creator of all things, and that His followers should worship Him and Him only and no one should be joined as God/god with Him. That's EXACTLY what the true Muslims are doing, friend.
You see, the Holy Quran has been around for over 1400 years, and NO ONE has had the audacity to even TRY or THINK about changing any parts of it; God challenges the readers of the Quran to just try to bring a similar verse or chapter to that of what's in the Quran... and no one has been able to meet the challenge because God promises His faithful followers that the Quran is guaranteed protection till the end of times. The TRANSLATIONS of the Quran may differ from translator to translator, but the actual Arabic language of the Quran can NEVER be changed.
"We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly Guard it (from corruption)" (Quran, 15:9).
Peace be upon you!

yes we do believe in the story of Adam and Eve but we beleive that it was satan who made both Adam and Eve eat from the forbidden fruit telling them they would live forever. after words Adam and Eve repented to God and were forgiven. Each baby is born pure and sinnless. they do not carry the mistake of their parents because God is the most merciful. he sent Jesus as a prophet to guide people to the straight path. Jesus was NOT sent to die on the cross to forgive the sin of Aam and Eve. Jesus is NOT the son of God and NOT God.
In the name of Alllah the most grasious the most merciful
Say:he is Allah(God), the one and only
Allah the eternal,absolute
he begets not nor is he begotten
and there is none like onto him
Quran 112:1-4
hope this makes you understand a bit more about Islam if you have any more questions about Islam read the Quran

Yes we believe in the story of Adam and Eve but there are some differences between the Islamic interpretation and the Christian one.
SIMILARITIES:
1-Satan convinced Eve and she convinced Adam to eat the fobidden fruit.
2-They were kicked out of the Garden of Eden and put on earth.
DIFFERENCES:
1-Muslims believe that Adam and Eve asked God for forgiveness and he forgave them.
2-Muslims dont blame Eve and dont believe that pregnancy and monthly menstruations is Gods punishment against women for Eve's actions. We believe that its a gift from God.
3-We don't believe in the original sin because God will not punish us for the sins of someone else.We believe babies are born pure and without sin.
I hope this helps and if you want more info feel free to e-mail me.

The story of Adam(PBUH*) and Eve in the Christian Bible was changed. The real story is both Adam(PBUH*) and Eve sinned by eating the forbidden fruit but they repented to ALLAH. So they were kicked out and seperated from each other but they finally found each other. And ALLAH made Adam(PBUH*) was made the first caliph or Prophet of ALLAH.

Yes we believe the story of Adam and Eve, in Arabic we call her "Hawaa" they were sent down from Paradise to earth because they disobeyed God and lisened to the devil "Iblees" and they ate from the tree that God told them not to eat from. On earth they were separated they kept searching for each other for years until they found each other and started the human race...

Yes, we do, but the blame isn't on eve. See, they were both seduced by Satan.
And they were forgiven for it, after Adam and Eve noticed their sin they regretted it and were asking forgiveness from Allah, after He forgave them he sent them down to earth to different places. Yes, we do believe so but we have some differences I guess.

Yes with slight differences -Islam doesnt blame eve (pbuh) for the fall - not does it believe all mankind is blamed through the unjust original sin
PART 1 - EVE'S FAULT
The three religions agree on one basic fact: Both women and men are created by God, The Creator of the whole universe. However, disagreement starts soon after the creation of the first man, Adam, and the first woman, Eve. The Judaeo-Christian conception of the creation of Adam and Eve is narrated in detail in Genesis 2:4-3:24. God prohibited both of them from eating the fruits of the forbidden tree. The serpent seduced Eve to eat from it and Eve, in turn, seduced Adam to eat with her. When God rebuked Adam for what he did, he put all the blame on Eve, "The woman you put here with me --she gave me some fruit from the tree and I ate it."; Consequently, God said to Eve: "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you." To Adam He said: "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree .... Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life..."
The Islamic conception of the first creation is found in several places in the Quran, for example:
"O Adam dwell with your wife in the Garden and enjoy as you wish but approach not this tree or you run into harm and transgression. Then Satan whispered to them in order to reveal to them their shame that was hidden from them and he said: 'Your Lord only forbade you this tree lest you become angels or such beings as live forever.' And he swore to them both that he was their sincere adviser. So by deceit he brought them to their fall: when they tasted the tree their shame became manifest to them and they began to sew together the leaves of the Garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: 'Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you that Satan was your avowed enemy?' They said: 'Our Lord we have wronged our own souls and if You forgive us not and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be lost' " (Quran 7:19:23).
A careful look into the two accounts of the story of the Creation reveals some essential differences. The Quran, contrary to the Bible, places equal blame on both Adam and Eve for their mistake. Nowhere in the Quran can one find even the slightest hint that Eve tempted Adam to eat from the tree or even that she had eaten before him. Eve in the Quran is no temptress, no seducer, and no deceiver. Moreover, Eve is not to be blamed for the pains of childbearing. God, according to the Quran, punishes no one for another's faults. Both Adam and Eve committed a sin and then asked God for forgiveness and He forgave them both.
