why do a lot of people believe that atheists have somethign missing compared to those who believe and have faith in some god?

Im interested in attending evening classes to learn Japanese. Has anyone else tried and achieved?

Is it easy to learn to a conversational level?
do you need to be able to write/read to speak?

do you have any advice,

I speak English, French and conversational Spanish, However; Im sure this forms no basis to learning this language

Let's assume that the evidence does point to there being a god. How do you know it is the Christian god instead of one of the others? If you say because of the bible, then why do you discount the Koran and the Hindu texts?

I HATE new years...if for nothing else it CLOGS up my gym with overweight people who have these crazy 'new years resolutions' to lose weight in the new year...

I for one HATE it... These people have NO idea what they are doing with the weights and clog the cardio equipment for at least two weeks (or whenever they give up on the resolution...whichever comes first)

Does anyone else agree that the gyms should designate certain pieces of equipment for these potential quitters so die-hards like myselft don't have to wait for them???

There is no fact about the beginning of existence, just theories. Atheist argue in the beginning there was science, and science created the big bang? For them did everything just exist at some point in time, as a result of science being the answer to everything? Do atheist believe that everything that exist today came to be by a series of scientific phenomenoms, and that all matter in space has always just existed somewhere for some reason?
